TIE-REEK!

Love to have real convos with real folks. I love building mentally. I'm a snowboarding fiend. It's almost as expensive as being a cokehead and there is more powder involved. I have two shorties and an ex-wife. How can things just get better and better? When i think i can't love those two kids more they do something that stuns me into true adoration. What else? I'm an avid reader and i love to learn. I'm real to the point of insanity. I have a t-shirt that says "i'm not your black friend." Come on does it get realer than that? I love getting the youth to learn and become passionate about their future. I was a high school classroom teacher, but now i have an out of classroom position. The job has its drawbacks because i have to deal with fakes ones a lot more and i don't get to interact with students as much. But i still try to kick knowledge in the kids' heads even if i have to dent up their dome in the process. I'm lucky enough to have shaped many kids who are all proceeding to take the life lessons i have given them and doing laps around my slow ass. Oh i love music so much it is absurd. I wouldn't be who i am today good and bad if it wasn't for hip-hop. I probably wouldn't be a college graduate, if it wasn't for KRS and PE, but i probably wouldnt overuse words like son and shook and gangsta if it wasn't for Mobb Deep and DJ Quik. Even i disgust myself sometimes with how sickeningly deep my passion is for this music. Sometimes i forget what i have learned and i forget to unlearn what i need to forget to be a better person. That means i have to start from the beginning a lot. i need lots of alone time. i am finding that a lot people can't really deal with that. i am truly my own best friend. i go hard at stuff that i am just learning about. Then other times i make inertia look fast. i am becoming a lot of things i never thought i would, like jaded and tending towards nostalgia, but that's only cuz everything new is wack and everything old is dope. That is except for new art that uses the previously mentioned notion as a guiding principle. i evolve to stay the same. i say things that seem deep but are stupid, but i also say stuff that seems dumb and is actually profound. i am horrified by the direction our society seems to be heading in and the things that used to give me solace don't get me very high anymore. Just when i think it ain't worth it i learn something new that i never realized in quite that way before and my feet don't touch the ground for a week.
