Big Beautiful China

About Me

A ceramic cat is called a "Maneki Neko" which is a symbol of good fortune in many parts of Asia. Sometimes serious--sometimes funny--I always bring good luck! Although I grew up in the U.S., my personality is half Taiwanese and half American. Like most Taiwanese, I am hardworking, practical, and compassionate to relatives. Like most Americans, I am honest, open, and respect heroism. In the past, I was a top student, an ice skater who competed internationally for Chinese Taipei, and now am a manager for financial systems; In the future, I want to be a writer. I am practical but also a dreamer. I have a strong distaste for discrimination and sarcasm toward people. I've always looked much younger than my age, but I get along with all age groups because of it. I dislike the dating "game" and people trying to "play" each other. It is silly. I think people are very brave who can endure it or seek it. MySpace is my window to Asia and its many cultures.

My Interests

Ice Skating, Tennis, Computers, Cats, Asian Culture, Writing, Long Lonely Walks, Movies, Computers & Instant Messaging.

I'd like to meet:

Firstly, I like people who like cats or pandas. But, if you are friendly and kind like most people, I'd love to hear from you--yeah even if you like dogs. No one is perfect :P I've blocked my friends display because I am not here for a popularity contest, and I enjoy all my friends equally as long as their sincerity goes more than skin deep. You do not need to be fake or pretend with me, I'm not here to drool over peoples' photos or to seek a relationship. My main reason here is to learn more about popular culture in Asia and to meet its people since I am too busy to travel much. In exchange, I will share anything I know about life in the U.S. or popular opinions about parts of Asia. I appreciate all your kind comments, but if you put something on my page, please make sure it is not TOO sexy :) Thank you!
