About Me

MyGen Profile Generator Well Hello MySpace, im a 26 year old guy from Edinburgh in Scotland. Scottish born and bred. I went to school in the borders but moved to Edinburgh in 1997 and still loving it. Ive tried living elsewhere but i keep coming back here, its home.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Im Looking to meet people with similar interests for some witty banter.
I have an aquired sence of humour sometimes, and i find homour in somethings other may find a lil weird or shocking. Any fans of www.b3ta.com are more than welcome :)So drop me a line or feel free to add me to your friends...

Laugh Out Loud? Really?.....

Been a while since ive updated my profile with the thoughts of Craig.
Recently i have been thinking to myself about the over use of the word "LOL".

Something that is really getting on my tits tho is that ive noticed ppl have started using it in normal everyday conversation... Guys. Listen, If you ever hear someone saying it, do me a favor, punch them to the ground and kick them squarely and firmly in the teeth. Also if you find yourself saying it, unplug your PC from the wall and ram a fork into the wall socket... seriously.

Anyhoo, got me thinking about things that have literally made me "laugh out loud?".

The Dramatic Chipmonk

I could keep pressing play on this all day.

Karl Pilkington. - The Ricky Gervais Show

Y'know, ive never really been a fan of Ricky Gervais until now. Team him up with Steve Merchant and Karl Pilkington and they are hilarious. Spawned from a Saturday XFM radio slot their PoD casts are now in the guiness book of records for the most downloaded PoD cast of all time.

So most of you out there will of hear of them if not get em downloaded.... i have nearly burst laughing listening to these.

FoneJacker - E4

So im pretty new to this guy, one of my mates recommended this to me (cheers Bacon). And yeah, this is some funny shit. For those of you not in the know, this little balaclava and aviator sunglasses wearing fella crank calls ppl for a bit of a giggle. Not sound like much? I would of probably agreed when i first heard of it.

Not an orignal idea but this guys has really made it his own, with a huge array of awesome voices and some quick thinkin its a really good watch. Dont make the mistake i did and watch most of his calls of YouTube first. Download the Episodes and watch them from the beginning.

... heres a sneaky one tho :P

Do you have the X-Factor?

Its it amazing that the music industry not only found a way to exploit the good looking and talented amongst us but now has done exactly the same thing to the latter.

And its fucking awesome..
Dont get me wrong, im not a 100% fan of shows of the X-Factor and Pop idol genre, but i do love the first few episodes. The episodes where all the ppl of this country whom have ever held a hairbrush infront of the mirror, come out of the woodwork to que for hours, just to get slagged and (hopefully) cry :)

If i want to watch a gorgeous talented person dance about and sing all i have to do is pop into the living room and stick MTV on. However i would never do this as the downside to watching these perfected toned ppl jump about in skimpy designer clothes, is that you do feel a little fucking ugly and overwieght after a while.

The pure genius of these audition shows is in the beauty of watching someone less attractive than you, less talented that you and (in most cases) more overwieght than you sing their little hearts out, only to get devasted by a panel of over paid pricks (i'll excule Sharon Obourne from that comment as i quite like her... and yeah i probably would). TV Gold.

This wee fella has gotta be my favorite, you may have seen him before, serious cringe material.

Choose Life.... nah fuck it play the Craft.

Its been a little bit of time since ive added anything to my profile. The main reason for this is that i find very few things in my mundane life interesting enough to post here. The net is full of really fucking mundane blogs of ppl telling me about their collections of Ties or other equally dull topics.

There is something however on the horizon that will dramatically change the lives of about 6million ppl in the world, so i thought it was worth a mention.

The Burning Crusade. TBC, for those of you not in the know is the expansion pack for the highly successful and life destroying World of Warcaft. As i keen player i hate to love this game. It will submerge you in a world of online fantasy where there is so much to do you will NEVER finish playing the fucking thing.
This game is responisble for the break up of marriages and even deaths... so man, you know its gotta be good :)

So Ladies if you are in any doubt as to what to get your man for Xmas, watch the below video clip...

Irwin Pwnd

I surely cant the only person that thought Steve Irwin had it coming? Don’t get me wrong, I feel for the dudes family but you can’t be surprised when a man that pissed off animals for a living gets killed by one.

There has been some controversy over Steve in the past when he made animals perform for entertainment, much to the dismay of animal rights protestors. Or the media circus there was when he took his baby Bob into the croc pen and paraded he for the cameras. What ever you think of Steve, he was great to watch.

Consolevania http://www.consolevania.com

Without a doubt the greatest amateur show on the net. Consolevania is a console games review program. Personally I don't play console games much, but that doesn't matter. This is Glasgow banter at its best.
The show oozes 'low budget' but this only goes enhance its originality and charms. As it is hosted on the net and available only by torrent download. As it is produced by the presenters of the show its completely uncensored. With strong language, brutally honest opinions and controversial sketches it is a refreshing change from the glossy productions most games programmes offer up for viewers. So check it out, you wont be disappointed.
