At just 22 yrs old, this graduate of St. John's University, knows what it takes to be successful in this world of entertainment. Born and raised in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, Roids (Ryan Lewis) has been obsessed with music for as long as he can remember. This love for music was the main reason why he took it upon himself to start his own record label, NRP Records. "I want to do music and have my artists do music how they want it done", said Roids. This is why, in 2007, along with his Co-CEO Mike Harris, the label was created. Roids, along with Mike (artist name, I.K.E) are the premier artists to come out for the label NRP. Also under the label are R&B sensation, Michelle, Young Esco (rapper), and Rhillz (rapper).NRP stands for New Rat Pack, a name which describes the label to a T. The original Rat Pack consisted of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin (amongst others). They took the music and film industry by storm in the 60's and early 70's. NRP is here to do the same in our current times. Dont believe it?? Roids will have you thinking otherwise.
