About Me

Indie shmindie tunes blaring out of every fashion boy in the UK's mobile phone, and having to listen the shite constantly being blurted out of the mouths of those around them, who seek nothing more in life than becoming a middle manager or estate agent, The Beaus decided long ago they weren't having any of that, and set about creating music with meaning and depth, but not loosing the vision of making it a "banging tune". With their influences including the original beat and mod bands and more recently the Britpop lads, The Beaus have always been fans of creating "anthems" for the nation, songs that really say something to the youth of today, and delivering it with the same power of their punk heroes 20/30 years ago.

Sounds Like: "The Beaus..An e-mail "any chance of reviewing our stuff" or something like that! We get loads of those nowadays, not many now make it to fresh cuts, if they did the whole site wold be a review site...But it was a short blast of their stuff and we though yeah why not. Britpop laid over short sharp blasts of guitar, very good, reminded me in places of Big Audio Dynamite. Both the tunes were refreshing, but on listening to the second track the main influence we could hear coming through was Pulp, or at least Javis Cocker...(what the band think of that we wait with baited breath). It's a neat polished sound, played well, it's up there with all the other bands that make this kind of sound and yeah we liked it plenty..."
