glASSpack was discovered in a little rock club under the I-30 underpass in Dallas, TX, on July 1, 1978 and played numerous Texas festivals and toured US during the late 70's and early 80's before having to prematurely shut the door due to personal and legal issues.
They've been on a hiatus of sorts but have been persuaded to arrange another tour starting July 2009 in support of their upcoming documentary film release.
Almost every major rock band of the 70's was influenced by glASSpack, stealing album cover concepts, logos, and even song melodies. But no one could ever be...glASSpack. STRAIGHT UP!!!!
