WELCOME TO MY LITTLE SPACE ON THIS PLANET! :) I’ll try to make your stay comfortable and keep the music right ;) OH...and one more piece of info. you might like to know...I'M LONG-WINDED AS EVER lol. Yea, I can let the words loose when I want to lol..soo..if you like to read...then I got somethin' for you below. Otherwise...I'd advise you to just scrooooooooll on down...and pick out whatcha want lol. I promise...I understand ;) lol About me? Hhmmm…weell…I'm a pretty simple person. I've been told by those who know me well that I am pretty open-minded, easy to get along with, and an overall chill individual.
Throughout my 20's I was in the clubs all the time, but as I approached 30, I began to become a professional homebody lol. Naw, I do enjoy staying at home and relaxing, but if I do go out, I just prefer something different. A different scene then the clubs. How about some spoken word sessions, movies, amusement parks, sporting events, special shows...whatever – as long as its not the same ol faces, in the same ol clubs, with the same….ol..music that I could hear on my radio…FOR FREE (and in slippers rather than some heels killin’ my feet tryin’ to look cute haha)
Overall, I'm a pretty chill individual, who is just trying to enjoy life. Born in Toronto, Canada, and raised both in Toronto and Bermuda. I’m a self-proclaimed INTROVERT with many EXTROVERT tendencies. This just means that I’m relaxed by nature but when prompted...I can get a lil’ wild. I’ve been through quite a bit in my life thus far, but I rather continue to live as though I have more to learn...which keeps my mind and eyes open and helps to keep me grounded and humble. THE 3 LOVES OF MY LIFE:MY DAUGHTER– 12 yrs old...and she provides me inspiration every single day to be a better person for the both of us. I take my role as a parent very seriously in an effort to ensure that she grows into a true…virtuous…honest...and loving woman. I’m telling you...the rewards of a successful CHILD far outweigh the rewards of a successful CAREER! LOVE, IN ITS TRUE FORM – the ability to LOVE someone, and to BE loved by someone is the most incredible feeling you can give and receive. I don’t use or accept the word "Love" easily. The word has simply become so..."norm" and is used without meaning behind it by so many. I respect the magnitude of this word, and use it accordingly. MUSIC – WOW! What a topic. For as long as I can remember…music in so many forms & genres, and from so many generations has engraved itself within my soul…permanently. The TRUE art of music fills me with energy, motivates me, educates me, welcomes me into intimacy, heals me, and gives me a high when I’m in need. From the days of Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday to The Ohio Players and The Manhattans, to Stevie Wonder, George Benson and Rick James to Pharcyde and Troop to Geru the Damaja and Brand Nubian to Playa and Mary J. Blige to Eric Roberson and Musiq...to Havana and Darrien Brockington...to Foreign Exchange and Nicolay...to Common and Mos Def...to J. Dilla and...MAN...the list is LITERALY endless. I LOVE IT ALL and will continue loving and supporting those who deliver music that is TRUE to it’s ART! Throughout my 32 (wow! lol) years on this planet, I have been blessed with advice, positive influences, and inspiration in many forms.
