About Me

"Know that on the right hand from the Indies exists an island called California very close to Earthly Paradise; and it was populated by black women, without any man existing there, because they lived in the way of the Amazons. They had beautiful and robust bodies, and were brave and very strong. Their island was the strongest of the World, with its cliffs and rocky shores. Their weapons were golden and so were the harnesses of the wild beasts that they were accustomed to domesticate and ride, because there was no other metal in the island than gold."
-García Ordóñez de Montalvo
(from Las Sergas de Esplandián, 1510)
"Syrup is the life-blood of the land, drawn from the heart of the mighty maple tree."
-the words of a syrup addict
Sooooo...
Ah, yes. Me. I am 4'6", 380 lbs, have dark blue glasses and a drop-top Tercel -- 2 liter, 3.5 cylinder, 5" cam, octagon valves, square steering wheel on a marble steering column, alligator leather wheels with 56" rims -- that I pull on an H&H SpeedLoader EX Tiltbed hitched to a custom titanium-frame lowrider bike with 25" handle bars, Sistine Chapel 'Touch of God' frame wrap, and crushed velvet banana seat. I enjoy Gran Marnier over chocolate syrup ice cubes, and I exclusively wear cashmere boxers.

My Interests

"[When I was a kid] we didn't have any fancy Sony Playstation video games with high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600! With games like 'Space Invaders' and 'asteroids' and the graphics sucked! Your guy was a little square! You actually had to use your imagination!
"And there were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen forever! And you could never win. The game just kept getting harder and harder and faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE!"

Anyway, lately I've been kicking a lot of balls, just like this girl:

I'd like to meet:

Johnnie Walker and Jack Daniels, and watch them mix it up with some drunken old-timey fisticuffs.

Music:

sometimes i try to play the harmonica.

Oh... and word up to that band that did "when the Shit hits the fan"

Movies:

The Chase!

And yet...
those things which should not be possible,
but for the grace of cosmos:

Television:

There is a claim that is not unfounded: "television rots your mother f*ing brain"
...also, there are shows that don't suck like once every ten years.

Books:

The Death Ship is perhaps the greatest novel of all time
Confessions of a Dangerous Mind
The Hawkline Monster is pretty entertaining....
Then there are math books.
And if you're bored, read Godel, Escher, Bach

Heroes:

Mr. Incredible, Mr. Friendly, Mr. Happy, Mr. Hyde, Mr. Fantastic, Mr. Somebody, Bob & Doug McKenzie...
...and St. Dymphna

Procrastinator (pro-'kras-tu-''nAt-ur): a professional crastinator
