For twelve years Adam Roach has been beautifying the flesh of thousands world wide. Our journey begins in the picturesque pueblo of Monterey CA, where a budding high school drop-out caught his first break from to-be mentor Steve Hendricks at Gold Coast Tattoo. A stones-throw from the prestigious Defense Language Institute our hero had plenty of time honing his skills perfecting such timeless imagery as Old English letters, USMC images, and the Tasmanian devil.After three years in California, his wander lust landed him in the throbbing metropolis of Madrid, Spain where he spent another three years studying next to some of the European elite. After his job was done, the good people of Europe bid Adam a fond farewell as he dug a hole clean through the earth to emerge in Asia.Adams passion for Asian culture and art flourished throughout his journey and is present in his approach to Japanese and Buddhist art styles. In a recent Rolling Stone interview Adam was quoted as saying his experiences over two years in Asia, mainly Indonesia, Thailand, and Nepal as being ‘pretty heavy alright’…Bidding yet another farewell to the good folks at Tommy Two Thumbs Tattoo in Singapore Mr. Roach hitched a ride on a small but fierce pirate ship, swabbing and swashbuckling those many miles back to the US of A.Adam currently works at BARCELONA ELECTRIC with Javi Castaño, Leo Denegri, Jota Esteban and Carol Angel, in Barcelona, Spain. Otherwise he’s peddlin’ his music to the masses world wide.
