I'm so thankful for God's presence in my life and the strengnth I acquire only through HIM. I see how HE blesses me daily and even though there are times I'm not sure He's listening.....there are MANY times that I am enormously thankful for those "unanswered" prayers!!
PS....I read on someone's myspace that they thought church offers one only blind faith??? But if not for "blind" faith...what faith could you have??

Recently, I turned 46 and I'm not all too happy about it!! ha I'm a bit on the vain side so the pitfalls of growing old is NOT exactly something I look forward to! It's really wierd getting this old....I still FEEL so young! It's like my mind stayed behind while the years continued to pass by. :=(
I have 4 border-line cute children (heeeee!)--26, 24, 20, 18, and one REALLY beautiful 6 year old!! ha I also have 5 gorgeous grandchildren --4 1/2yrs, 4yrs, 3yrs, and 2yrs and almost 2 months old. Family has always been the central point of my life. That translates into: I've pretty much always been a stay at home mom and haven't accomplished a DAMN THING! (*sigh*) I did finally graduate from college and worked hard at my dream job.... until I realized it wasn't my dream after all! Beyond that...There's just never been a time when I thought ANYTHING was more important than my family....nothing EXCEPT maybe laughter!! You HAVE to have a sense of humor if you've ever been married AND have children!! In fact, I think anyone who loves to laugh and has a fun sense of humor is VERY attractive...even if outwardly, they may not be deemed "attractive"! And just so you know....THAT'S NOT A COME ON...pervs especially! Please, don't bother me!!!
I left Pensacola, Fl (and Cindy) 15 yrs ago for a Navy life and ended up here in Nebraska doing the Army life! (and missing Cindy) Omaha is a great place....it's been the greatest place yet that I've lived in regards to thier music and entertainment scene. (And I LOVE music!) There are concerts, museums, and all kinds of activities ....everywhere ... constantly .... with every genre of music imaginable ... Often, I think that if Omaha only had a REAL beach...it would be PERFECT! BUT...that is impossibe so, of course... it doesn't take the place of sitting in the sun (next to Cindy) on the beautiful white sands of the Florida beaches. I can't even tell you how much I miss it--even the humidity!

I'll get back to the sea somehow~~JB
(Oh....and CINDY...I miss CIndy SOOOO freakin much...I've got to get back to her too!)

I'd love to even be in the same room with Jackson Browne again! I attended 3 of his concerts in the 70's and I've never been able to quiet his voice in my head/heart. That could be because I have his music playing all the time!! To meet him personally would be ...heaven!

Speaking of---when I am done here on this earth...I anticipate meeting God (although, I've known Him for a long time now) ....I'm praying St. Peter let's me through the gates!
