About Me

i would say that i'm not very typical...but everyone says that. so i'm okay with being typical. i love to learn new things, travel to new places, and meet new people. i am not the most open person, but i do care a lot about people...my concern and love for my fellow brothers and sisters runs deep. those who know me might say that i am a contradiction in that i'm loud and annoying, but can also be shy and reserved...i love to talk, but do not share my emotions and feelings very openly...i have a thirst for knowledge, but don't really like going to school...these are just a few of them, but if you don't mind so far, maybe we can be friends.

My Interests

learning new languages...fun fun fun.

I'd like to meet:

those who fight for justice out of love, the cause of Christ. people with something to say, doesn't have to be profound, just thoughtful. and those who like to eat desserts, because that's what i like to bake.

Music:

india.arie, alicia keys, and musiq...and other stuff all around and in between.

Movies:

foreign films, documentaries, animated movies, comedy...i go easy on the drama

Television:

cartoons: aqua teen, classic family guy // fashion: queer eye, what not to wear, project runway // timeless: a different world, cooking shows // best shows ever: greys anatomy and er

Books:

currently (and this is no joke): chronicles of narnia, the temple of my familiar, anderson cooper's "dispatches from the edge", and of course wicked, which i started almost a year ago. just added the time traveller's wife to the list.

Heroes:

one person who i really admire was the rev. dr. martin luther king jr. oh mayynnn! this guy was brilliant. he sought out holy and just things for the oppressed people of this nation, and of the world really. have you read some of his writing? not just 'i have a dream' but his other works?? whooo...this man had a way with words. i hope one day my life will reflect that i am a christian dedicated to serving the cause of Christ.
