Drivin' the Gut Buggy!

About Me

I am a firefighter, and soon I will be able to fight fires again. I had to leave the Jollyville Fire Department to move to lubbock with my wife so that she can get her Doctorate in Psychology at Texas Tech. For 5 months I was the manager of a 7-11 store here in Lubbock, in order to support us. That job was horrible but it tought me to appretiate any job afterwards. I am now working for Lubbock Ambulance as an EMT. It is a private ambulance company. We do pre-hospital calls, as well as transfers from one facility to an other. So far, I mostly see old folks. I hope to build-up my EMT skills here. While working as a Firefighter/EMT, I did not get as much patient care. I Just got the recomendation of the Chief here in lubbock to be hired on as a full time firefighter. I am scheduled to start the orientation academy in January, and then be given my station assignment in February. I can't wait to get back into fun stuff. It will also be great because I will have more time with my wife, and I'll be making quite a bit more money while working less hours. Awsome all around! Oh yeah, and I like Old Volkswagens.
