Originally from San Jose, CA. Matt moved to Hollywood in the Fall of 2004 where he attended the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, AutoMattik completed the RAP (Recording Artist Program) with extensive studio training, learning all the necessary programs & tools used by all major producers & engineers in the industry.
His name "AutoMattik" was given to him by an artist who felt that everything Matt touched was "automatically" a potential hit.
At the Musicians Institute, AutoMattik worked with singers/rappers/songwriters and engineers from all over the world. It is here that he also greatly improved his ear training and skills on the keys.
Since then he has been pursuing music in Los Angeles, creating beats/songs and working with numerous artists, A&R's and managers.
