Work: I work at a youth homeless shelter as a front line youth worker and case manager, as well as for the Teen Sex Information Program at Planned Parenthood, and I volunteer with another program at PPT.
School: I graduated in 2007 with an Hon.B.A. from the University of Toronto, with a major in Women's Studies and two minors in Sociology and Classical Civilizations.
Music: I like music a lot and I like lots of different music. I especially like punk and hardcore, or at least those are the shows I find myself at a lot of the time.
Life: I'm married to this dude , and I think he's kinda swell.
We have two cats and two pugs ( Tilly and Rudy ).

- I am a feminist. To me, this includes being anti-racist, anti-essentialist, anti-colonial, anti-imperialist, sex-positive, queer-positive, anti-transphobic, anti-homophobic, anti-classist, anti-ableist, fat-positive, very left wing, and pro-choice. It also includes more than just theory, such as actual activism and action.
- I am a huge baseball fan and I love going to Jays games.
- I have a lot of tattoos and plan on getting many more.
- I am pretty emotional and I don't really think this is a bad thing.
- I think sarcasm is the highest form of humor. My husband also says I like potty jokes a lot. Oh yeah, and I swear like a sailor.
- I hate willful ignorance, general douchebaggery, hypocrisy, and 'fakeness', the latter being in anything from people to music.
