I have several passions in life. My wife and our son or daughter that is expected in November are the most important to me. I don't know what I would do without them. I am a drummer by trade. I have spent many years on many stages performing for whoever will listen. I have been fortunate enough to have played with some pretty big touring groups. (Jason Allen, Diamond Back Texas {touring band for Billy Joe Shaver}, Zack Walther and the Cronkites, Jarrod Birmingham, James Lann, Ryan T Briggs & the Redneck Hippies, Jason Marbach, Big John Mills and several others.) Every band I have performed with has taught me something more about my playing and what I need to work on or what I am good at. I cherish every band for different reasons and have been honored to have been asked to play.
I have also spent many years on the business side of music. I have done everything from booking, management and artist development to running sound, show production and being a roadie for Van Halen.
South Plains College in Levelland TX is where I spent a lot of time learning about music. There, I studied Drums, voice, guitar, music law, music business, performance and promotion, live sound, studio recording, music theory, and I was asked to perform in several ensembles for the school including Thursday Night Live (country and rock), western swing, christian, and another country ensemble.
I will always be a musician. My dream is to be able to support my family on music alone and tour with a great band that works hard at their craft. I look forward to the day that dream will come true.
