G.S.D 4 D.S.D!

About Me

A quarter of a century done and now... it gets interesting. Born in Baltimore, MD raised in Virginia Beach, VA, but yet to reach a final destination. I am motivated by the unending quest to satisfy the masses with smiles, thank yous, applause, and the occasional thunderous roar. The arenas I have performed in were unique. Those I perform in now still set the stage for a scintillating performance. From displaying a passion for the culinary arts in an open kitchen to an undying determination to outlast my opposition on the court 1 on 1, covered in green, and honest (or dishonest) line calls abound my mission is clear. MAKE AN IMPRESSION!

My Interests

I love music (Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Alternative, all kinds). Love to play sports and put on a show for anyone and everyone who's interested to watch. I like to play pool and I'm the man when you put me behind a stove or when any type of cooking is involved (Props to Food Network!) I like to watch my favorite movies over and over again (If ya wanna know what some of them are just drop me a message)."Changing the way people think about dessert. One bite at a time."It is my dream to be able to cater to the masses (literally). My obsession with desserts and baked goods has lit a fire under me to come up with the greatest desserts executed with a unique twist. I choose to involve my upbringing, culture, and many other influences to provide a sweet experience that hits the spot.
Other interests include... Cooking, the Washington Redskins, the Baltimore Ravens, the Baltimore Orioles, the color combination of black, carolina blue, and white (OMICRON DELTA KAPPA!) Gaming on Xbox Live, Cruisin' til the early mornin talkin about everything and nothing important with the best of friends. Finding the next best local eatery, brewery, or coffee shop that smashes anything franchises could put together.

I'd like to meet:

Roger Federer, Alton Brown, Denzel Washington, Andre Agassi, Anthony Bourdain, Jamie Oliver, Jacques Torres, Bret Hart, Robert Irvine, Rachel Nichols (ESPN), Stuart Scott and Tiny from Friday (preferably in the same room so I can find out how long I can keep eye contact with them), "The Donald"

Music:

I pretty much like it all, or will at least listen to it once before passing judgment on it. Although finding the right musical score from a movie is always good motivation for a good workout (Requiem for a Dream - Lord of the Rings as an example)Some of the more notable accomplishments in my life include being part of a musical group with my closest friends for the span of 4 years. The many changes we went through symbolized our growth in a craft we were completely raw in. Many band names, many songs and renditions, and many performances later have made for many lasting memories to be shared at the Starbucks or the local eatery.I've also auditioned for American Idol. August 2004 in Washington, DC. Over 16 hours of waiting in a line of thousands I waited all to sing a couple bars for 30 seconds at the stroke of midnight and my name was called... to come back for the 2nd round where I'd be KO'd by the Exec Producers.Oh yeah, and that ball dropping thing in Times Square. I've done that!

Movies:

Too many to list, but I am pretty good at remembering classic lines from famous movies.

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Sportscenter, Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, Daniel Late Night, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, Dirty Jobs, ESPN's First Take, Pardon the Interruption, Around the Horn, Good Eats, Iron Chef, Iron Chef America, Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Jamie at Home, Everyday Italian, Dinner Impossible, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, Sports playoff games and championships, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Tennis Channel, Just about all available channels on Cox's HD lineup (just because of the clarity), Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Books:

Talent is Never Enough, The Magic of Thinking Big, The Joy of Cooking, Peanuts Comic Strips, 3 Seconds - The Power of Thinking Twice, Who Moved My Cheese, It's Called Work for a Reason!, Cooking, Demolition Desserts.

Heroes:

The life I live is dedicated to my parents and God first and foremost. They are my true heroes for teaching me the power of perseverance.
