10 Year HS Reunion this year...I'm old!

About Me

I'm an engineer at a healthcare manufacturing company. I've been in Philly almost 2 years now, and I must say that it has been good to me thus far.I'm pretty laid back and silly (I keep sarcastic jokes), but I take care of my business. I am a MAN in every sense of the word...and I thank my Pops for teaching me how to be just that. I'm just a good ol' Midwestern boy that likes to have fun and enjoy life. I attend La Salle Univeristy where I am pursuing my MBA part time...hope it works out well for me...as I try to continue to do bigger things in life.

My Interests

Working out, playing or watching football or basketball. I bowl, swim, shoot pool...pretty much anything adventurous and dangerous I do, like whitewater rafting, snorkeling, rock climbing...stuff like that. I'm a movie fanatic also. I also enjoy cultural stuff like plays and museums. I do love music and can sing a little. Yes I'm pretty well rounded. There's not much anyone can do that I don't do or haven't tried....that's legal I should say. lol.

I'd like to meet:

People around the Philadelphia/NJ area. People who strive to better themselves and can hold a good conversation whether it be silly and/or serious...doesn't matter...people of ANY race...its all good with me.

Music:

I love SOUL period! I don't dwell on genres....if it "touches" my spirit I like it whether it be Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Rap, or Rock. I really love the old shool R&B stuff like Motown. Some of the new R&B artists that I'm feeling are(my boy)Darnell Kendricks, Anthony Hamilton, John Legend, Bilal, and Carl Thomas. Hip Hop....mainly the "social conscious" people like Mos Def, Common, Talib Kweli, and Kanye West. Not a huge fan of southern rap because a lot of it promotes ignorant stereo types but there are a couple that I'm feeling like Andre 3000 (maybe my favorite rapper ever) and Luda. Don't get me wrong...the South is cool in the club, but not in my ride. Last but not least...Stevie Wonder is the greatest of all time! The guys at work have gotten me hip to some rock & roll/metal and its not that bad actually. Like any music there are some stuff I like and some I don't...but I try to keep an open mind about it all.

Movies:

Any good crime or comedy. Richard Pryor stand-up...simply the best.

Television:

Martin, Chappelle Show, Cosby Show, Sanford & Son, All in the Family...you know, the classics. Of course Sports Center and PTI are my absolute favorites!

Books:

Anything involving me making more money.

Heroes:

God, my parents, and my grandmothers.
