Vital Signs

Vital Signs is made up of three friends who have known eachother forever.. Growing up in the same New York town and coming up in the same school the guys played in several different bands until ultimately forming Vital Signs in the early 90`s..Tim Morgano/Guitars, And John Whitmore/Bass/Keys/Vocals, have been connected musicaly since the early 80`s.. They have recorded several demos togeather as well as solo projects. Mike Derose/Percusion played in several bands including; Popular local act, "Falacy". When the guys joined forces in 1990 they got right to it... They were a power trio for sure. Anyone who was fortuenate enough to have seen their live show, allways walked away blown away by the power and sound that came from just three dudes..They opened shows for several national acts and they played All the New York Clubs from "The Class, The Chance, Brior Patch, Russels, CBGB, Lamor, Rascals, and Lots of fairs and bars....Very soon after forming they got in the studio and recorded a 10 song Demo..Mike Tim and John felt it was time to take the show on the road. They planned to head south. After showcasing the east coast they planned to head out west. Basicly,, just Rocking till they get a deal or die...Out of the gate they only made it as far as Florida..Troubles with Mike left them looking for a new drummer in florida. Soon they replaced Mike on drums with Joe Crylen and continued performing shows through the Tampa bay area in clubs like ML Chacers and the Rockit Club. The three clicked incredibly well..Eventualy the band broke up. After returning to New York Tim And John Formed, Major party band,"Fun House"......For financial reasons/ benefits the guys became more of a cover band...Eventualy the guys got tired and settled down and are now on there own..John Whitmore has a Myspace music profile where you can check out his solo music.. John was the main song writer in Vital Signs, so if you like VS, you will love his new music. His Myspace band profile is under band name, "Whitmore". Tim Morgano has setteled way down and basicly left the music world. Mike Derose whereabouts is unknown. But we all wish him well........Joe is currently living in New York and plaing the cover seen with several bands..
