My interests seem to change every day, although some would combat that this occurs on a much more frequent basis. However, those things which are instilled in me for all of eternity include my love for music, magick, the trees, a summer storm, going to England, owls, the leaves crunching beneath my feet in mid October, faeries that hide in flowers, a cloudy sky beneath an Underworld moon, pouring out my soul onto paper, a walk around the block after midnight, holding a close friend's hand, and nose rubs behind the black curtain.
The most important, however, is living every day to the fullest. This means crying when you feel like crying, laughing when no one else will understand the joke, and kicking your best friend in the knee for no reason (he will understand, especially if you offer him Tequilla). Don't you people watch our tv show?
Oh... and did I mention that I am utterly fascinated with Play-Doh?
And what is it about Hitler?
Edgar Allan Poe
"Alone"
From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were---I have not seen
As others saw---I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I lov'd, I loved alone.
Then---in my childhood---in the dawn
Of a most stormy life---was drawn
From ev'ry depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that 'round me roll'd
In its autumn tint of gold---
From the lightning in the sky
As it pass'd me flying by---
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.

I absolutely love music. I take my ipod everywhere.
And yes... I am a "lyrics person". I am the freak who rips open the cd case, pulls out the insert, and might possibly cry or gasp for air.
These are the bands who are leaving me especially breathless these days:
HIM
Type O Negative
The 69 Eyes
Staind
Lacuna Coil
Mushroomhead
Within Temptation
Evanescence
Sevendust
Johnny Cash, Brand New Sin, She Wants Revenge, Placebo, Bif Naked, Bon Jovi, INXS, (hed) p.e., Saliva (We miss you Chris!), Kid Rock, Madonna, Pantera, Twiztid, The Dresden Dolls, Silvertide, Tantric, Nine Inch Nails, Hinder, Janis Joplin, Breaking Benjamin, Finger Eleven, Ego Likeness, Sisters Of Mercy, Fair To Midland, Tommy Lee... and anything else that you people (you know who you are) make me listen to in a drunken stupor.
I also have somehow developed an odd fancy for hearing Scottish men sing Elvis songs. *shrugs*
And the purple rain keeps falling...
Movies offer a moment to live another life. My favorite alternate realities are: The Mists Of Avalon, Interview With The Vampire, The Chronicles Of Narnia, Rock Star, The Last Unicorn, Mary Poppins, Alice In Wonderland, Underworld, Elizabeth, Wuthering Heights, House of 1,000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects... and anything with Johnny Depp, most especially when eyeliner is involved.
I Love Lucy, Bewtiched, Gilmore Girls, Days Of Our Lives, Mindfreak, Oz, Supernatural, One Tree Hill, Smallville, Prison Break, Heroes, Men In Trees, Jericho, Rome, The Amazing Race, and and my latest addiction: Lost (Thank you, Jeffy... for making me more insane than I was before).
I also watch ECW, but only to see Elijah... cuz I yuv him!
I have loved to read since the day I followed Lucy through the wardrobe and into Narnia. Currently, my favorites are anything and everything written by Poe or Anne Rice. I also like Poppy Brite, Rosalind Miles, and Philippa Gregory. My favorite book of all time is the Mists Of Avalon.
