Zombie Rae

I got pooped on a lot in high school.

About Me

I am Poison Ivy. I'm as dramatic as teen pregnancy. I'd like to think I'm different, but the reality is, I'm prbably not. I hope people think I'm weird, because that means I'm interesting. I'm slightly self-destructive, somewhat contradictary, and as much as I wish it weren't true, I think I thrive on drama. I like to stur up shit. I'm not the kind of person that will pretend that everything's ok, but yet I like to ignore problems. I'm hard to read, but very good at reading others. As much as I love someone, there always comes a time when I try to push them away. Silence is too intence for me. Any natural grace I have is ruined by my horrible depth perseption. I hate wearing shoes, especally when driving, and sunglasses are a permanent fixture on my head. That comes from my Cali roots. I'm a Norcal native who used to live in Florence, Italy, and my heart is split between California and Europe. I live in San Fran now and I love it here. When I'm not in class or working on a show I spend almost all my time with my kickass room mates. I'm an only, but I have a crazy big English/Irish/euro-slut fam. I have tons of cousins, I guess that makes up for the lack of siblings. I'm a very messy eater, and that's probably because I love to eat with my hands, and I spill more things when I'm sober than most people do when they're totally drunk. My life goals are to win an Oscar, hit someone with a guitar, break a bottle on a table and threaten someone with it, swim in a public fountain, initiate a fight, dance on a table, get pulled on stage at a concert, see the 7 wonders of the world (1 down 6 to go), kiss a celebrity, have a good new year's, and to date a guy who drives a car with a plastic bag for a window, that just straight class. (I already accomplished kicking a guy in the crotch, and kissing a gay guy.) Oh, and my hobby is sleeping, I love it even more than I love eating. "No meat? What are they gonna eat, lightbulbs?." God bless you, Di Anne, Brian, Autumn, and Amy, you were too good for the world I live in.

My Interests

I'm an artist. I love anything creative. Drawing, painting, ceramics, you name it. I'm also pretty musical, I play the harp, piano, and gutiar (all though still learning that one). I also act, that's gonna be my career, if all goes as planned. Musicals are fun, but I'm not so good in the dancing area, although I was in the Nutcracker. I'm obessesed with tatoos. I'm also really interested by 80's gutterpunk, pirate and sideshow cultures. I'm also obsessed with aliens, unexplained mysteries, mermaids, monkeys, and for some reason, golf carts.

(I've seen most of them at last once in concert, and I've actually gotten to meet some of them.) I like all kinds of rock: alt., punk, emo, indi, some hardcore stuff (yes I like punk and emo, get over it). I'm a huge '80's fan (sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era). Aerosmith, The Bangles, Billy Idol, Blondie, The Clash, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, The Go Gos, Joan Jett, Journey, Pat Benatar, The Pretenders, The Ramones, Tears for Fears, and also some older stuff like the Beatles, the Doors, and Jefferson Airplane are some faves. Every once and a while I'll like something totally out of the ordinary. I admit that I have guilty pleasure songs. I have a love-hate relationship with Anti-Flag, the Pixies, and the Sounds. (If you call me mainstream, I'll kill you.)

Movies:

ACROSS THE UNIVERSE I love anything Baz Leherman or M. Night touches, and I'm also very fond of Tim Burton. I love the Batman movies, the X Men movies, and Superman (I'm a comicbook movie nerd, just not Spiderman, those ones suck). I love A Simple Wish, American Beauty, Anchorman, Bedazzled, Benny and Joon, Boondock Saints, Brothers of the Head, The Butterfly Effect, Carrie, CASHBACK, The Chumscrubber, Confidence, The Count of Monte Cristo, Curious George (what can I say?), Dear Frankie, Dig!, Dodgeball, Donnie Darko, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Garden State, The Jacket, Knocked Up, The Lord of the Rings, Love Me if You Dare, Match Point, Mean Creek, Miracle, Monkey Bone, Mr. Wrong, Nepoleon Dynamite, Now and Then, The Number 23, Orange County, PARIS JE T'AIME, The Princess Bride, Romeo and Juliet, RENT, Rules of Attraction, Rushmore, The Science of Sleep, School of Rock, Se7en, Signs, The 6th Sense, Splash, Slackers, SLC Punk, Sleepover Camp, Some Like it Hot, Stranger Than Fiction, Taxi and Fever Pitch (gotta love the Jimmy Fallon), That Thing You Do, This is Spinaltap, The Triumph of Love, Waiting, The Wedding Singer, Wet Hot American Summer (with the additional fart track), What About Bob?, and really bad horror movies like House of Wax and the Final Destination and Urban Legand triologies. I was the founder and prez of the 80's Movie Club in high school so Back to the Future, Breakfast Club, The Cutting Edge, Farris Bewler's Day Off, Flashdance, Footloose, Pretty in Pink and 16 Candles are some of my faves. I've never really been into horror movies, but all of a sudden I super am, however I REFUSE to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (either version), The Ring, or The Exersist. (Don't ask me why, I have a real good reason.)

Television:

I'm a hard core Simpsons fan. I'm also the queen of chancelled shows: Arrested Developement, Freaks and Geeks, Friends, Pete and Pete, King of Queens, The Office (at least the American one is still alive and well), The OC, Reunion, Roswell, Skin, Undeclared, Veronica Mars, and Freakazoid. I'll admit I have a place for Power Rangers Ninja Storm in my heart. I watch SNL every Saturday night (although I think we all agree that it's not the same as it used to be, espcally now that Jimmy's not on it). America's Funniest Home Videos, Greek, Extras, Inked, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, MaxX, Miami and LA Ink, Psych, Robot Chicken and any Award Show (they're like my Superbowl) are great, too. America's Next Top Model, So You Think You Can Dance, the Girls Next Door, and Rock of Love are my guilty pleasures. And, Scarred! I don't know why I love that show so much, but I do! My true obsession is Lost, or as I like to call it "Where ah we...?" I also love loud redheads like Kathy Griffen.

Lucille Ball. No matter what people say, Bono's a great person. And of course Jesus, who else would die for me?
