How come I must know where obsession needs to go...?

About Me

My name is Yvette. I am seventeen years old. I was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and grew up in Dartmouth and Rangely, Colorado. Right now, I have no idea where the Hell I am, so don't bother asking. Kthnxbai.
I'm a lover of music. Drum corps is my main desire. The beauty of the fury, passion and pain that goes into 11 and a half minutes is absolutely euphoric. The way in which it affects its onlookers is almost enigmatic. I hope to someday be a creater of that phenominal power, but I have stayed pretty involved with the world of corps up to date, regardless.
I love to know people. I love to get to know people. I love to know why people do the things they do. I love to have trust in people. You may say i'm backwards in my way of befriending someone. I start out trusting, and then go from there. However, once the trust is gone, it'll never come back. I forgive, but never forget in every effect, except for with myself. You may go so far to say I have a charismatic aire about me. Although I lose touch at times, I try to refrain from severing ties. I'm always here for when people return, and I rarely choose to stop talking to people or end a friendship. I suppose i'm slightly fearful to change.
I love Jelly Bellies. I love anime. I love to listen, play, dance, sing and live my music. I love Video games. I love Mega Man, Metroid, Castlevania, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and SMRPG. I love MMORPG, such as World of Warcraft. I love to sing in public. I love to stargaze. I love to walk about. I love to think and develop philosophies. I live to analyze and ponder. I love to be noticed and appreciated. Who cares if it brings glory or not, so long as someone holds me dear to their heart.
I am what I am, and i'm sure you can ask for nothing more.

My Interests

Chrono Trigger, Various RPGS, Animes (.Hack//sign, Macross Plus, Ghost in the Shell, Neon Genesis Evangelion), MMORPGS, Music, Mellophones, French Horns, Walking, Singing, Drum Corps, Troopers, Various comedy, Philosophy, making a general ass out of myself, tactful sarcasm, being entirely too down-to-earth and chill, and giving off a general aura of omnipotence.
No, i'm just kidding about that last one.

I'd like to meet:

You, just like every other damn person on MySpace.

Music:

Oh wow. Tons of stuff. I listen to a lot of drum corps shows (Nur.) along with a lot of other random 70's Motown music, 80's dance, techno, classical, jazz, punk rock, progressive rock,or just whatever appeals to me at the moment. I listen to a lot of I Mother Earth, Tool, Silverchair, Dream Theatre, Nightwish, Coheed and Cambria, Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Thelonious Monk, Earth Wind and Fire, Blood Sweat and Tears, Bad Religion, La Bouche (Practically the writers of the Night at the Roxbury soundtrack.), A Perfect Circle, Weezer, Sublime, Beatles, The Doors...I think you get the idea.

Movies:

You know, I never really watch movies. It's quite sad. I do love Office Space, though. HOLY CRAP, that is one funny movie. If you haven't watched it, you need to go watch it right now. NOW! I'm mostly into comedy stuff, though. This is Spinal Tap, Super Troopers, any Monty Python movie, I hear I might like Anchorman, haha. I really can't name any, there's way too many to name, I tell you what.

Television:

I watch TV? Well, I guess I do, sometimes. Usually it's South Park, Family Guy, Futurama, The Chappelle show, Mad TV, Who's line is it anyways, Red Dwarf, Monty Python and the Flying Circus, basically whatever the hell is on Adult Swim or Comedy Central. You know the drill, eh?

Books:

Hmm...Books...I really like The Stand...and Uh... Flowers for Algernon...I have no idea.

Heroes:

I would like to state that first and foremost one of my favorite heroes would have to be Justin Usery. He was the only thing that kept me sane in the asshole of the earth, whilst making it quite a fun experience to boot. May he always think of the good times as he pretends to be white trash. Aside from this, my heroes kind of depend from week to week. Feel free to bribe me somehow if you'd like to be my hero. I accept diet soda and all forms of money. Sometimes food, too, as long as it's the right stuff. Uhm...Oh, and you have to be in drum corps, too. That's a huge thing. OH, and anyone who gets me Jelly Bellies. I guess that makes Samantha and Mike my heroes, haha.

My Blog

I want to write something in here, but unfortunately, I'm the equivalent of an emo sack of shit. Although still more intelligent than a jar of mayonnaise, I still wouldn't want to write in that condit...

To change the world, it started with one step. However small, the first step is hardest of all.

Know what's laaaame? Censoring your thoughts. That's pretty lame. But, uh...you never know who can look at these things. I sort of think my parents found my myspace. I should start locking that thing....

...But there's something about us, i've got to say, because there's something between us anyway

Well then. I'm very emotionally volatile. Seriously. Last night, a friend of my father kept saying that  seem to only play my horn when I want to bug people, not for any other reason. I kept tryi...
