About Me

First of all, I'm a total sucker for mohawks and motorcycles. I love them both. And the two of them together (a guy with a mohawk on a motorcycle) just might be too much...I still love my first love. After all, His name is Jesus. I'm doing my best to get out of His way and let Him work on things in my life that I can't work on myself. I've been told I'm unique. I've also been told that I'm brave. I'm a thrift shop kind of girl. I have a deep appreciation and love for my family. I have infinite patience with other people but little to no patience with myself. I pray a lot. I mean a LOT. It works wonders you know. I love MUSIC. It is my career, my love, my life. I love riding motorcycles. I am opinionated, outspoken and sarcastic. I am fascinated by the human mind. Even more so by the autistic mind. And yet even more so by the criminal mind. I have a debilitating, unusually severe phobia of roaches. I also have an extremely high tolerance for physical pain. I have a deep respect for the United States Military, and I am very passionate about expressing this. I do not deal well with "drama"...I had enough of it the past few years and have no tolerance for it now. I have no problem being honest and letting someone know how I feel. I love music and tv shows from the 80's. I believe in the supernatural...I have my own proof that such a thing exists. I believe that the human body is an amazing piece of art. I think people try to live too fast. Slow down and just be. You'll accomplish everything that you're meant to accomplish. I love watching wrestling. I'm a rocker at heart, although I have quite an eclectic music collection. I really like Harleys, BMX and motoX, being in high places, tattoos and piercings, speed (as in going fast, not the drug), and the sensation of falling. I am just a happy person. Music of choice: ROCK. Food of choice: Mexican. Drink of choice: water. Vehicle of choice: Harley-Davidson. Drug of choice: Music.

My Interests

Anything having to do with music...I LOVE going to live shows. I love creating music, listening to music, writing music. I paint and also do photography. I like the outdoors, like hiking, camping, etc. Art, dancing, cooking, playing my guitar and flute (no, I've never been to band camp), the supernatural, being around family and friends.

I'd like to meet:

Jesus Christ. On a more earthly level...Jimi Hendrix, Chris Cornell, Eric Clapton, BB King, Janis Joplin, Dane Cook, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Layne Staley, Trent Reznor, Christopher Walken, Molly Shannon, Will Ferrell.

::

Music:

If it's good, I'll listen to it. Love: ROCK, swing, blues, southern rock, ska, electronica, and alternative. Like: Hip hop, jazz, classical. Tolerate: Country, folk, new age. Can't stand: rap, Nirvana and Fergie.

Movies:

Tombstone and Saving Private Ryan are my two absolute favorites. I loved Passion of the Christ. I think The Shining, Platoon, and We Were Soldiers were excellent movies. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was brilliant. I loved Superstar and Napoleon Dynamite. Horror, war and comedy films are my favorite genres. Oh and I love the Labyrinth. Call me eclectic, what can I say.

Television:

I don't really watch television. There are much better things to do with the brains we have and the time we're given than sit in front of a tv. Like my cousin Andrew said, why watch tv when you can be enjoying life?

Books:

I'm a pretty faith driven person, so of course I love the Bible. I also really like When Godly People Do Ungodly Things (Beth Moore) and To Kill A Mockingbird. My newest addition is The Long Road Home by Martha Raddatz. It's about Black Sunday (March 4, 2004). The 2-5 Cav was in Iraq for their first day and got ambushed. It's an amazing book.

Heroes:

My brother. This is why...

just be honest

i am wondering why people can't just be honest with others.  why do some people think it's easier to lie, or "stretch the truth", than just being up front and truthful.  i don't care if you ...

i wonder...
