I grew up on a commune in Idaho and have been playing music for as long as I can remember. I was actually given a guitar before I was born so I guess I had no choice. My dad, uncle and grandfather are/were all musicians. I have played everything at one point or another. After receiving my degree in clarinet performance in 1998 I started a 9 piece funk band called Fat Albert Rotunda. After a successful 3 year run I moved to Seattle and shortly after that to LA.
I figure the best way to be successful is to do everything. So I have been trying to keep my hands in as much as I can. I do music, voice over work, acting, extra work, TV shows, movies, stage, construction, web design, rebuild cars, mountain bike, snowboard, etc, etc. One of these days something's gotta hit, right?
The last 4 years have been excellent. I have made my move in lots of areas. I have been able to work consistently as both a guitar player and a clarinet player and have also been able to make a decent mark in the voice over
