I'm all over the map... literally and figuratively. I subscribe to beliefs and thoughts that are in a constant state of flux, and enjoy talking about things deep enough to make my brain hurt. I was in the Marines for 7 years, although you probably wouldn't know it if you met me since I love the Muppets and the performing arts. I was married for five and a half years (I left her in Nov 08 so we could both get on with out lives) to a great gal, but things just didn't work out. I used to have fun updating a personal website (webhollis.com) but that's pretty much fallen by the wayside. It's more of a "Hollis Classic" online representation of me at this point. After a decade of military life and a job that took me all over the world I have finally made it back to home base: Colorado. I missed the sunsets and natural beauty that I have only seen here, and feel extremely fortunate to have a job that I feel highly suited for. I have been very fortunate in my professional successes in life, and even luckier to have friends and family who stick by me through everything. I am a "snarky" goofball if I meet you at a party and have no difficulty making friends, however I believe strongly in life's balances and covet my quiet time... be it by myself or with limited company. I believe everyone has something unique and amazing to offer the world, and that we should all aspire to the highest levels of self-awareness every day. I love comedy and believe it to be one of- if not THE most important thing we can create in this world. My 5 year plan is to kick ass and take names in this job and to reconnect with family and friends, my 10 year plan includes hopefully finding the woman I am meant to spend my life with and to begin that life, and my 50 year plan is to not die, and hopefully attain enlightenment. Why not.
