About Me
Lived in AK for the better part of my life, but was born in Whitefish, Montana. Love it here in Alaska and doubt I'll ever leave. Most of my family and friends still live in AK, which is more important to me than anything else in the world. Grew up in Eagle River and went to Chugiak High School. Went to college in Bozeman, Montana to switch it up a bit and got a degree in Civil Engineer... not sure how with all the skiing and partying we did, though. Some of you know what I'm talkin' about. Damn, I miss that place a lot and all the friends I made there. After graduating, my best buddy and I traveled/skied around Europe. Would like to do a lot more traveling and truly admire people who get out there and see / experience the world. That's the worse part of having a 9-to-5 job, it's hard to get the time off to really travel... I'm still trying to figure that all out and have yet to find a solution. I am currently working for a great civil engineering consulting firm in Anchorage, Alaska. I enjoy the work, but definitely enjoy my time off more! My true passion is skiing, at the resort or backcountry, and try and get out as much as I can. Also love music, anything in the outdoors, especially fly fishin', and truly enjoy spending time with my all my great friends and my huge family!
