In November 2005, What started out as a joke became quite serious when 5 teens in South Florida decided to really go through with starting a band.

When the proposition to form a band was made by Picatso's guitarist Jennifer Cantor, everyone agreed but, no one thought of it seriously. "Jennifer and I were just bored." recalls Guitarist Jo, "We wern't doing anything in out 4th period and Jenn's like 'Lets start a band.' So, Binky and I were like sure. I remember saying we should call it Your Mom. Jen was laughing and everything. So, clearly it was a joking matter. A few weeks later while Jenn and Jo were talking on the phone the band topic came up yet again. Only this time they really went through with it, realizing they have nothing to loose.

The original members of Picatso were Jennifer Cantor, Jobeth Williams, Manuela Arenas, Leah Ramnath and Bianca Milanes. However, a month after Picatso started bassist Bianca left the band. She was replaced as bassist by Leah. "I dont know! We got some new people, I guess. I remember not even knowing who was in the band for a while." explained Jenn, "I would always be like Jobeth, Who's in the fucking band?"

Confused for a while, they finally got it togeather, Deciding on the band name Picatso and starting fresh with a new member Alex Garcia.

In about March of 2006, Jennifer and Jo started working on a side project called GQS (Good Question, Stupid!) With their good friend Marina. =] And they also Officially launched a Clothing Line Called Clown Hoe. Also Co - Owned by Alex. www.myspace.com/clownhoe

In early June 2006 Picatso's guitarist Jo moved to Boston, MA leaving behind only the promise to return in 2007. "Jobeth just up and fucking left me!!! -_- I was sad ;_;" ~Jenn

"Boston sux! I miss my friends and band mates. I can't wait to return. Even though I am many miles away (unwillingly) Clown Hoe and Picatso are still doing business and doing it really well. We have a major amount of designs, we are working on putting it in stores and we have a ton of songs. I am really happy with the work that we have done so far and I hope to continue and gu much farther. Maybe Jenn and I will be on GuitarPlayer one day." ~Jo
