I'm usually busy and happy! Life is good, work is great and I'm enjoying being home in Lake Almanor. I love my house, I love my sweetie Pete, and I love the mountains.
Things that are fun!!! I love sports...basketball, baseball, football, not that I actually play any of those now. I love to golf and snowboard, that's about it nowadays. I enjoy real estate and being busy. I love owning my own house and having a garden and playing in the snow. I love taking it easy on Sunday and watching movies, even bad ones. I love trivia games, too...actually, I love just about any game. I love good food...well, great food, which we don't get much of around here, and good booze, too! Pete and I love going out to ridiculously expensive dinners. (It's more fun for me when he pays, though!)
Not too picky. I like just about everything. I'm a sucker for good ole' rock and roll. I love everything from Bobby Darrin and Sinatra to the Stones and Dyer Straits. I love Cyndi Lauper and The Cars, The Counting Crows, Collective Soul, Pearl Jam. Buffalo Creek is one of my favorites (a great Chico band). Lately I'm awfully fond of country music. I suppose I could go on...Bob Marley, Eddy Grant, Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors, John Hiatt, Steve Earl, Norton Buffalo. I even like a little Snoop Dogg every now and again. Only thing I could do without is most of the modern pop stuff. My new favorite is Gavin DeGraw.
Lots of the usuals, I'm sure: Braveheart, the Big Lebowski, KingPin, Harold and Maude, Beaches, The Princess Bride, Joe Vs. the Volcano, Forrest Gump, Jurassic Park, White Water Summer, War of the Roses, Goonies, Cocoon, Overboard, all the Lord of the Rings, and I loved Star Wars, all of 'em, Harry and the Hendersons, the Wizard of Oz. Annie, Scarface...and lots more!
I'm a sucker for T.V., sad to admit. I watch just about everything, too many to list. My FAVORITE is Grey's Anatomy. Other favorites include: CSI, Without a Trace, Survivor, House, ER, Law and Order (SVU and Criminal Intent, too), Family Guy. I can't forget American Idol! Plus I watch Seinfeld and Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond and Home Improvement during the early evening times. Like I said, I love TV.
Recently, I'm digging into Harry Potter. I love James Patterson and Dean Koontz. I just like something that keeps me reading.
