Mike Steezo aka "BEWARE", one of America’s most inspirational lyricists, was born and raised in Washington Heights, New York City. Beware stays in the studio night & day and is currently working on his second solo album "you've been warned". This album is filled with jazz beats & rhymes, speaking about everyday life experiences. Beware, a former member of "Slumlandz", fine-tuned his music skills with artists such as Kay'D May’D (1 Life 1 Family), Ceke Blanko (Big Choke), Gee-Lock (51 Designz), Nerzeen (Stop Playing Ent.), Cyril Darensbourg (The Industry LLC), and HAZZ DIGGZ. Slumlanz, an independent label, promoted & sold their music right out the trunk of Ceke Blanko's "63" Chevy Impala in Times Square. Selling their music from New York to California earned Slumlanz a record deal from Universal Records.Beware accomplishments have led to a total of 7 cd's from 1999 to 2007. He recorded two albums with slumlandz, 2 mixed tapes, one album with St. Louis artist, Kwaze, a solo album, and a rap DVD. Beware is also featured on the “and one” mix tape which was aired on ESPN with Alimo, directed by Alistair “Gee-lock" Christopher.
