In 2001, Caleb Lopez (El Oficial) had a dream to elimintate the world's perspective on what commercial music should sound like. Until 2004 he worked on establishing the record label Profundo Records Ent. At that point he felt ready to add another integrant. By coincidence Christopher Rodriguez (JP at the time) was visiting his aunt (Oficial's vocal instructor) while Caleb was present. In hearing "JP" was a singer Caleb wanted to audition him. Instantly realizing JP's potential, Caleb signed him to Profundo Records. Shortly after his name was changed to Anthony "El Profe". In 2005, one year after Profe was signed , Dante Vicens presented himself to Caleb as a beat maker. Though skeptical at first, time past and Dante proved to be a dedicated individual ready to take on the responsibilities that came with belonging to a label. From 2005-07, Caleb, Profe, and Diamond were each presented with opportunities in the secular world. Caleb was offered a chance with Mas Flow, Universal Music, and Machete Music; Profe was offered an opportunity with Pina Records; and Dante was offered an opportunity with Goldstar. In being offered those chances they each realized that the world wanted them apart because together they would be too great a force for Christ, so instead they unified and began to work on the project "Fuera de la Rutina". The album was released in 2008 and has been an incredible success. Thanks and Glory only to God, Profundo Records is becoming more and more a greater reality each day.
