Better yet, whoever's complaining about what Child left out. Me too, pal, me too...
Movies:
Forbidden Zone, Mulholland Drive, Dogma, Fight Club, Godfather 1/2, Citizen Kane, Sneakers, Lord of the Rings 1/2/3, The Aviator, Rules Of The Game, Ocean's 11/Eleven (either one, but heavens not 12)
Television:
Not cancelled yet: The Wire, Doctor Who, Scrubs, Ugly Betty, My Name Is Earl, The Office, The Sopranos, Nova ScienceNOW, Pimp My Ride (but not the international edition), Little Mosque on the Prairie (hiatus or cancelled?)
Cancelled / concluded: Deadwood, Dead Like Me, Arrested Development, The Singing Detective, Mulberry, Firefly, Buffy, the version of Fantasy Island that ran for something like eight episodes in 1999 and was going somewhere kind of interesting before ABC yanked the plug, after which I developed acute hateration for that network, which is why I've never seen an episode of Lost nor do I plan to
Books:
Too many to list, but I tend to prefer nonfiction to fiction and history / political / science / sociology titles above all others.
Heroes:
Aren't those the people with the feet of clay? Pass, though I have great admiration for (among others) Fred Rogers, Abbé Pierre , Thomas Clarkson, Benedict Freedman, Ramsey Clark, and Tony Dungy. Maybe I'll add more later.
