Since birth I have been on a nomadic journey, having lived in Selma, Indianapolis, Mobile, New Orleans, Baltimore, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, and now Washington DC. Although I have received my Bachelors degree from Xavier University and an MBA in Marketing from LaSalle University, the best education has come from my own examination of life. My works of art explore these observations and interpretations of the human experience. I choose my subjects by what delights and captures my imagination, from local scenes to capturing a moment of tragedy.I have invested significant resources and dedication to mastering business so that I can close the gap between delivering authentic creative works of art and ensuring revenue and profitability. Through my experiences I have developed a nice inside and outside game. From an inside perspective I have worked in some capacity (intern, employee) with Def Jam Music Group, Essence Festivals Incorporated, Festival Productions, Sam Goody, Black & Decker, the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau, Arbitron, and now DIAGEO/ Moet & Hennessy USA where I am the Multicultural On-Premise Specialist. From the outside (non-corporate) I served as the CEO of Pinnacle Production Group LLC where we launched the critically acclaimed nationwide "Mic Check" tour. This event was witnessed by hundreds of people in New Orleans, Philly, San Francisco, and Oakland. It brought well known artists such as Dice Raw (of the Roots crew), FLO Brown, Cee Knowledge (Digable Planets) and Zion I to the stage with dope underground artists such as Reef The Lost Cauze (Philly), FLO (the Bay Area), and Bionik Brown (New Orleans). The concept of delivering authentic art and ensuring profitability are often viewed as oxymoronic when used in the same sentence. However, I have made a serious commitment to debunk that myth by exploring and exploiting all opportunities to market bona fide works of art. If you are committed to the preservation of works of authenticity please engage and support the arts. In a world of cultural, religious, economic, and social divisions, art has remained the common denominator.
