Detroit native, Anthony Howard, a graduate of Full Sail Real World Education-Film School of Winter Park, FL, is taking his dreams and making them a reality with fervor and tenacity.Howard has several production and direction titles to his credit. A Christmas Carol – Perfecting Style with Perfecting Church and the Winans Family, Death By Chocolate, an interactive mystery theatre, and leading and organizing the Forward The Faith - Urban Music Conference that held 330 attendees (in it’s second year). Nationally recognized radio announcer and scholar, Deborah Smith Pollard had this to say about the conference, “Finally Gospel Hip-Hop is being self-serviced in ministry and not just industryâ€Notably, Anthony’s film, Radio Room was being considered for the Russell Simmons/Stan Lathan Def Filmmakers series. Other production/directorial credits include several television commercials: HereWe.com, Reading is Fundamental – a public service announcement, and a Florida television-magazine show called Plug-In. He produced a show, Battle of the Poets, at one of downtown Detroit’s premiere theatres, the Masonic Temple, with “COCO†the comedienne as the host who said, “This gentleman has brought integrity to the industryâ€. Howard promoted and also wrapped production on a music video by a Stellar Award nominated group “God’s Little Soldiers International’s†hit; Let’s Get It Started. Also The Convictor’s music video “In My Heartâ€.Anthony would love to produce two of several projects he has in the works, one being a gospel soap opera called “Citizens of Heaven†and a screenplay “To Gain The Whole Worldâ€, in which he has been shopping to TV-ONE cable network and BET. His extensive meetings in Maryland with the CEO and VP of Marketing, respectively, were very encouraging. Also in the works is his independent gospel film called, The Forgotten Gifts, which will begin in live theater. So you can tell, experience, coupled with his natural affinity to stage and film, will be an explosive and dynamic combination for Detroit and the world over.He is also in negotiations to open a coffeehouse/dinner theatre for Christian adults called Café Cabochon. Detroit’s Talented Extravaganza, LLC is also looking at prospects with a realtor to move his fast-growing company out of his basement into an actual office building.
