Shanel Regier Fall 2007 Collection at Turner HallShanel Regier, Milwaukee-based fashion designer will launch her fall 2007 collection in a runway fashion event scheduled for Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the Historic Turner Hall Ballroom.The evening will begin with a progressive fashion installation that will include avant-garde creations that fuse her love of fashion and sculpture. The ready-to-wear runway show following will feature over thirty looks. Regier's signature Victorian-influenced garments will reappear with a modern take, contrasting soft and innocent with dark and sultry. Original jewelry designs by L. Edgar Duff will accessorize the collection.Turner Hall will be complete with cash bar, DJ, Design Within Reach lounge area, fashion installation and runway show. A silent auction to benefit the Shanel Regier Art in Fashion Scholarship Fund will take place before the show.This event is presented by zenden Lounge at the Intercontinental Hotel.Additional sponsors are:

----------------Other Events:GEN ARTS FRESH FACES IN FASHION!!!A wonderful opportunity came my way this fall which has resulted in some wonderful press and business growth. I was selected to participate in Fresh Faces in Fashion, a huge fashion show put together by Gen Art. (For those who are not familiar, Gen Art is the leading arts and entertainment organization dedicated to showcasing emerging fashion designers, filmmakers, musicians and visual artists. With offices in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Chicago Gen Art produces over 100 events annually ranging from a week-long film festival to massive star-studded fashion shows, DJ competitions, art exhibitions, multi-media events and much, much more.) I was one of the 7 designers chosen to represent the midwest fashion talent for this event, which took place September 25th in Millenium Park, and was a huge success!
