About Me
rather than express myself through inaccurate, stereotypical surveys, ill type this and post it. I’m not sure where to start, as this is just off the top of my head so just go with it....Born in August 3rd 1990 in Providence Hospital in El Paso was a baby (if you can call it that) with hair resembling a Japanese anime character. Rewind to what I can recall and we are at my first day of school. All I remember is that I didn’t know a word of English and that feeling of being alone at school because of that is unforgettable. 2nd grade, top student and I apparently know English on a 4th grade level. Sadly this led into English becoming my dominant language over Spanish. I was in a public school for the first time in my life during the 4th and 5th grades. Then I am placed in some private school again until halfway through the 7th grade. At which time I started going to Morehead. I joined football in the 8th and I am still currently wasting 3 to 4 afternoon hours on weekdays, August-September, chasing a ball carrier. I am sophomore in CHS and looking into the fields of engineering and architecture.I like almost any music with either guitars and drums. Rap=Retards Attempting Poetry. I mostly watch comedies. I hate horrors because its basically paying to know EXACTLY what will happen (oh, the couple who just had sex dies right now). Action Ill watch on occasion if I feel the special effects are good. In order for there to be a good joke, you have to be unaware of what is next, otherwise its an old and rather unfunny, for lack of a better word, joke. That’s what make comedy priceless. I like videogames as well. I like a lot of shows but my favorite two are The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.Time for me to sound like a nerd. I am pretty good academically, I always score top 10 in the TAKS which in my opinion isn’t an accurate test over our progression. Gradewise I keep my grades above 85 and my current GPA is 91. I am pretty good with computers; so save yourself $40 and call if you need help. Our school system is inefficient. Ideally, we are at school to LEARN, rather than to prove it through pointless assignments. Lectures, and tests help us learn. Showing the teacher if we have been taking notes, copying the agenda and doing homework don’t. Statistics show that homework scores contrast negatively by 42% nationwide as to test scores. Tests and exams should account for most of our grade because they SHOW that we are learning the material because frankly, there’s no distractions on test days. And yes there is the matter of work skills, but that shouldn’t become integrated into our score but rather take form as a report filed over our school years but teachers.I am against the thought that elders are superior. Yes, we should respect by all means, but if you find yourself to surpass them mentally, assert yourself. My views on global issues are biased towards the U.S.. What pisses me off the most is “land of the free, home of the braveâ€. WTF?!!. You want freedom, go to Canada; there’s much more freedom and benefits there. Oh but wait, there’s that stupid American thought “Canadians are weirdâ€. Why? That is something that no one has the answer to because Canada is quite clearly a better country than the U.S.. “home of the brave†is a piece of propaganda lying shit too. I don’t consider bombing small countries “braveâ€. Americans like to take a look on sophisticated cultures, blatantly claim themselves to be superior and then ice the cake with a nice corny line like “the French are a bunch of pussiesâ€. Hmm…. Lets see here, King Louis helped the U.S. become the propagandist country it is to date by helping the colonists throughout the revolution. No Frenchies= No America. That aside, the French didn’t just bend over during WWII and tell Hitler, “all right put it inâ€, they were weak economically which ultimately led to their weak military. Why would the be weak economically. Simple chronology . Before WWII there was WWI right?. Don’t you think France was maybe, I don’t know, a tad bit in debt after funding a massive war effort. After all, France was significantly involved in WWI (much more than the U.S.). All the U.S. did was play the role of the db jumping on the pile to make it look like he was in on the tackle. Any country that doesn’t accept help when its on the verge of collapsing is just nonexistent. And that’s just what France did in WW11. So then Iraq comes along and France decides not to help be “brave†and help bomb an defenseless country. And of course the words “French†and “pussy†merge once again. What is Iraq being fought over? Wasn’t it over WMDs? Yeah but there weren’t any. Oh yeah it was about capturing Sadaam. Oh no, wait, we have him already and were still in there. Oh that’s right, setting up a democracy. Nope, not it either, that process is almost finished (Iraq can do the rest themselves if we truly want them to become an INDEPENDENT democracy) and we have decided to send our %15 troop surge “tip†into Iraq because doing otherwise would be the republican catchphrase “cut n’ runâ€. Maybe its relevant to the fact both Bush president have a hand in the oil industry. The U.S. is so hypocritical an propagandist that regardless the Constitution said all men were created equal, we allowed slavery and prejudice and had to make a AMMENDMENTS outlawing prejudice and slavery even though the Constitution clearly stated that all men were created equal. War is necessary at times although we must try everything within our power to avoid it. The Bible has a couple righteous battles within. But in this countries case, we take advantage of the benefits of total war. If we truly look for the improvement in countries, why aren’t we in Ethiopia? Racists, sexists and gays have no place on this planet. I’m not saying we should kill them all but the cute little utopian views humans perceive about space colonies and flying cars will not be possible with them.I dont hate the U.S. government system, just the propagandist general American public who always repeats phrases of the ilk of "its a free country". Canada, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Argentina, and Japan are all countries with more freedoms than the U.S., but you dont here them brag. Every country should have military forces. When forces fight for a noble cause, I support them. But in the U.S. case, I dont support our troops. What the fuck was Raegan thinking when he thought he would end a 2000+ year old "holy war"? Now all we are doing in the middle-east is strengthening our hold on petroleum resouces. I dont know about you, but I value human life much more than a fossil fuel. What U.S. troops are not "fighting for our freedom". Sorry for breaking it to you. What ruins our society is pop culture. IPod is nothing but a fad. I personally think its ok but what annoys me is how many say they like it because it was the first and original, but no its not. The only reason apple got where it is right now is because celebrities used it; so then we figured if we wanted to be cool, we had to get an ipod. Yes it’s a good mp3 player but its competition just rapes it. Enter the Zune. Its made by Microsoft, why wouldn’t it be better? After all, I’m certain you’re reading this through a Microsoft system rather than an Apple. Oh, that right, its not “coolâ€. Being cool nowadays is now joining a bandwagon based on celebrities. Here’s another example. Why don’t students take school as seriously as it was before the invention of television? Because now every little kid is under the impression they will hit it lucky and become rich and famous. Truth is there are about 1,000,000 successful celebrities worldwide. In a world with a population of over 6 billion, that’s a retarded risk to take. So play it safe and smart and hit the books. Clothes is becoming an annoying statement as well. Sure I do wear name brands but I will admit that I only buy those brands because of the logo and not the assumed and fictional increased quality. I feel the primitive purpose of clothes as just something to keep you covered as, well, primitive. Clothes displays some weak signal of social status. For example, walk into an interview dressed nicely in a polo and slacks and you will get the job over the thug in an oversized G-unit shirt and pants under his asscrack; provided your resume, background etc.. are on par with one another.
My religious life is hard to explain. I am Catholic, go to church on Sundays and I could be said to be bit above moderately devoted. I used to not be much involved in Catholicism but when I attended an ACTS retreat, well, it changes your views; lets leave it at that. I argue my own beliefs constantly. I would like to merge the principals of the 4 prophets; Noah, Abraham, Moses and Muhammad along with my belief in Christ, the son of God. But evidently, they contradict each other in cases. We must accept the fact the end is near. The time range between which all Abrahamic faiths claimed the arrival of a prophet was within a 700 year time frame. It has been 1400 years since the last Abrahamic faith recorded the arrival of a prophet. Not to mention signs from the book of revelation are occurring everywhere. Oddly enough, the Bible code and the Mayan calendar mark the end of the world in December 2012. I don’t think we’re that close though. Those who reject the fact Jesus ever existed are ignorant for it has been accepted by history; whether or not you believe in him as the son of God is a different dilemma. To those who don’t believe in God think about this: If you accept God and he isn’t, you lose nothing; but if you reject God and he is, you lose everything. To my close friends this should be completely unknown and somewhat evident to those who don’t know me as well. Apparently as I I have been told by some, I maintain a reserved attitude. And when I think about it, I really do. I don’t go looking for friends, I wait for them to pass by. So if you think you are a close friend to me, you are the one that made it so, otherwise, we wouldn’t know each other. I just don’t feel the need to go looking for friends because luckily they always come by. The only thing that loosens me up from this character is alcohol, my “social lubricantâ€. Disappointingly, though, its not too abundant and I seem to have a high alcohol tolerance level. I don’t drink alcohol to just be drunk and “have fun†but to rather be able to communicate more openly and hide my reserved character. While I’m getting to know someone, I tend to maintain this reserved personality. But as time passes by, I loosen it up with an that individual to the point I could be considered too outgoing. I would guess I am very concerned about the impression I would like to leave on people and the best way to send a good message is to play it safe; be reserved. To those of you who read to this point, I'd like to say thanks for taking the time; whether you read this if you were bored or really became interested.
