A little bit about me:
Some people collect antiques but I collect junk. I share my studio with a cat, three google-eyed goldfish and 40 + vintage squeak toys which stare down at me from the shelves as I work. Sometimes I feel as though I’m being watched. I drive a black mini cooper with a checkerboard roof and I ride a sweet purple vintage 1972 Honda cb350. I love hanging out with my baybee...he's best! I’m a lover of animals as well as a big fan of flea markets, old diners, vintage amusement parks and just about anything weird. The weirder, the better.
I have drawn since before I even knew how to spell my name.
As a little kid there was a ratty old blackboard on the wall in my bedroom where I drew stick figures and animals with colored chalk. As I got older, I was the kid in school that all of the other kids would go to and ask to “draw their picturesâ€. In high school, doodling in my sketchbook under the desk or behind a book was more important to me than paying attention. In those days, the sketchbook was confiscated more than once.
From 1991 to 1993 I attended Bucks County Community College where I studied fine art and graphic design. In 1997 I received a BFA in illustration from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. I currently work from my home studio in suburban Philadelphia where I plot to take over the world one illustration at a time.
