Vortex Live Promotions and Booking

Welcome to Vortex Live. Based in Bournemouth, we aim to boost the live music scene around the town by booking some of the UK's best signed and unsigned artists to you. We deal with bands of all Rock and Alternative genres from Indie and Pop Punk, Acoustic to Hardcore, Electro to Metal.
We've now been given the go ahead to run the majority of Friday nights at Sound Circus where we'll have 3 acts from 8pm-11pm then DJ from 11pm-2am. These events will be 18+ unless it's a bigger show likely to pack out we'd have 16+
We'll also be running events at Chords (Formerly Mr C's) in Poole as well as being head of street team there promoting their in-house events. These will be 14+ events unless otherwise stated. We'll will be looking to plan a 10-12 band fest every month or two, as well as bringing you more establish acts and breakthrough artists. Check out Chords website for details on the upcoming events.
We'll also be using iBar for a lot of our events, they're normally 16+ but 14+ for more exclusive shows.
We'll have a lot more dates up shortly, taken a breather for a month or so but booking up shows again as you read this.
If you're on Facebook, search "Vortex Live Promotions" and also keep up-to-date with goings on there and also "Bournemouth Live" for all exclusive shows by local promoters, normally 2 or 3 gigs a week to attend locally.
For all our events, we contact all the artists we wish to book for the dates we're given by venues but now and again we'll post bulletins asking for bands to show their interest in playing at our shows, but please DO NOT message us asking for slots as the likelyhood is that we won't reply as we sometimes get upto 50 messages a week from bands who want slots.
