| View Show | Create Your OwnI'm Sadie Spencer, am 22, was born in Leeds but have lived in Harrogate since I was a wee tot. Over the last three years, I've been training to be a Primary School Teacher specialising in Music at St Martin's College, Lancaster. My likes: Erica, Richard, Heather and James Spencer; tallness; spontaneity; smiling; Mum's roast dinner; my birthday; buying presents and being so excited I can hardly contain myself when I'm waiting for them to be opened!; my cat Lily; good drivers; Phoebe's Lobster idea; singing along to the same song as the driver behind me in my car; Jo Whiley's Changing Tracks (and that feeling I get when she reads the stories behind them... goose pimples!); My mum's (Delia Smith) tiramisu; vanilla candles and fairy lights; clean houses; hot bubble baths; autumn colours; WHSmith stationary - girly stuff!!; Yukka plants; big sunglasses; pretty knickers; Tanqueray, Tonic, Ice and a slice of Lime; crystal and silver ware - from posh nosh joints; Mr Sunshine; warm beds; the smell of Christmas; playing grand piano duets with my sister and Coco Chanel Mademoiselle; getting great work from children that I know have really REALLY tried!;My dislikes: frowning; litter louts; housemate grime; bad internet connections; having too much work to do and not much time to do it (tho' that's often generally my fault!); disorganisation; being late; blisters on my toes from sexy shoes; policemen who abuse their power; parking tickets. My Harrogate family consist of Erica (my Mommy), Richard (my Pop), Heather and James (my siblings). We're all really close, especially myself and Heather since we were born on the same day (she popped out 15 minutes before I did so there are always two parties on our birthday!). We have three outrageously funny cats and one tremendously whacky Springer Spaniel who has more recently taken to growling at me when I visit my 'rents... You'd think he'd jump for joy at the prospect of leftovers from welcome home parties - nope!! My Lancaster Family are extending as I write this. Last year, I lived with THE BEST HOUSEMATES in the world in the BEST HOUSE in the world - 4 Cork Road. They consisted of Marion, Mark, Emma, Alex and John. We had the best year together but as the saying goes, good things must come to an end as Marion had to return to her homeland - France. Mark moved on, as did Alex and John, and now it's just Emma and I...The house has now been refilled with some more crrrazy housemates... Although we've had our ups and downs (bills, money, cleaning mostly) we all generally get on like a house on fire when we spend quality time together.I don't like to say I've got best friends, so I'll call these people my nearest and dearest. Firstly, Elizabeth Frances Fee. She's most likely going to be famous for something and is forever ditzy but I love her all the same. Apparently she only started talking to me in Sixth Form because she could see that I was 5'11'' too and we would probably shop in the same place. Ha!! Never before had my height been such a blessing! My other very good buddy is Lisa. I've known Lisa since Mothers and Toddlers. I'd trust her with my life and I know that if I was ever in trouble, she'd be there in an instant. The rest of my nearest and dearest know who they are ... Love you xx

My Interests

Music is a big one. If I'm not listening to someone else's, I'm generally making my own. I love to sing and play the piano and am currently working on some tracks with my sister. As we're twins, we have very similar voices thus making the sound we make together quite eerie (in a Phil Collins/Madge kinda way!) I enjoy harmonising with her and have vowed that should teaching not work out for me and York not work out for her, we'll enter XFactor for the sh*ts and giggles! During the holidays I work on RAF Menwith Hill with american brats (erm...I mean, kiddiewinks!!). I enjoy working with kids, but I feel relieved when they all go home with their parents at the end of the day, that's for sure! Like the typical lady, I like to go out with the girls and don't mind hanging with the boys either. I do like nights in with a bottle of wine and someone to cuddle up to. That's it for now. . . no doubt I'll think of some more trash to write here when I've got my thinking head on.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone and everyone...don't care...however, not into forming serious relationships sitting at my laptop!!

Music:

Plan on making this my year for live music (and have got my name down for a Leeds ticket which will hopefully get to me!) after having seen José González, James Morrison and Ray LaMontagne recently. I love the Killers, Jack Johnson, Franz Ferdinand, Norah Jones, Queen, John Legend, Oasis, The Kooks, Gnarles Barkley, James Blunt, Paulo Nutini, Snow Patrol, Keane, The Feeling, Sara Bareilles, Daniel Powter, The Streets (Never Went To Chuch and Dry Your Eyes mainly), Nina Simone, Green Day, Regina Spektor, MIKA, John Mayer, REM, Beatles (classic!) and a few others. I'm open to gig invites and am always keen on branching out of my comfort zone.

Movies:

I'm a comedy lass tho' I don't so much enjoy the slap stick crappy teen movies. I've got quite a few Adam Sandler/Will Ferrell movies in my collection. Anchorman and Happy Gilmore are my big faves from those guys. Haven't been to the movies quite a while come to think of it.

Television:

Believe it or not, I'm not that into television. I won't rush back from uni to watch Neighbours and Home and Away like I used to at home. I find most T.V. nowadays quite tedious (not a grumpy old man posing as a student - honestly!). If I am feeling like slobbing out infront of the box, I like Friends. I can watch the same episode a million times and not get bored. If Corrie happens to be on, I'll watch that as well as well as Emmerdale as it makes me feel like I'm at home in the 'dales.

Books:

I'm not that big on reading I must say. I'm sorry to all those book worms out there who must think 'my god..that girl doesn't know what she's missing out on!!' but to be honest, if I read now, it's for my course. I love to read on holiday by the pool tho' - provided the boys don't splash me!!

Heroes:

Family - Mummy and Daddy Spencer are my all time heroes. They're just amazing parents and I feel that without them and their support, I would be a very, very different person. Heather and James - simply a pleasure!

My Blog

The Fourth and Final and all that jazz!

I seriously can't believe this is my last year at uni.  It's so so scary that I need to start looking for jobs and places to work next academic year.  I'm so so frightened!!  I've got t...
