Add to My Profile | More Videos Everyone if you don't already know i'm the main character in this short film video.My Boy Kenny Taylor came up with the whole concept. Now for the Description: When you are a certain race you aren;t really forced to see the hardships of other ethnicities. This video shows how the main character(Keith Sinephat) deals with these changes... I also wanted to show how even in your own race you can face problems...hence the running away from the hood...and a LOT of people can attest to that. It is so much you can take from this... At the end of the video it shows the shot of the guy standing there as everyone who was chasing him when he was black running past him. That is just signifying to me how a lot of the problems of one race and the things they see people of other races can't even fathom. All the racisim, predudice,...etc... The main character at the end is exhausted and surpised to see what his African American counterpart had to go through. The quote at the end is from W.E.B. Dubois and as soon as I read it I felt it was perfect for the song. It is him talking as if he were a white person saying how they pitty African American people and their "lowly condition" and how wonderful it would be for them to be born White. The whole video is a play off of those words. Except it is a reverse and it is showing the privledged White man in the beginning of the video how it is to experience black life for a day.
