About Me

I’m not a musician, just a music lover. I make this music for fun.
Vinyl and CDs from my personal collection are the main source of the material, along with public domain drum loops, downloads from Internet WAV sites, and samples from TV shows and movies.
No keyboards, drum machines or a sampler or workstation are used on these projects. Not one shred of original instrumentation, just 100% samples recorded with a basic PC and played around with in two programs called Sound Forge and Acid Pro.
I’m not a musician, just a music lover. It is one of my main passions in life. I have no musical preferences. I listen to a pan-global fusion of a wide-ranging variety of styles and representations.

About the current tracks in the player:
The Puzzle - While recently working on a jigsaw puzzle, I began to see many parallels between life and a puzzle. When beginning both life and a new puzzle, all the different pieces are all scrambled up in front of us with no real instructions to lead us in any direction. After we examine our current situation, we notice there are all different ways we can begin our journey. We may decide to start in one corner or another, depending on what we feel is best for us. I have found it best to get your edges (beliefs and virtues) down first as a strong foundation to help us see what direction we're wanting to take. As we continue working, we notice that some parts come easy to us, and others can become a challenge. Just as in life, we all struggle in differing ways.
AH64 - My latest work in progress, this is a Drum and Bass tribute to the Apache Helicopter Gunship.
Bun Bu Ryo Do - Drum n bassy, the title is Japanese, meaning 'culture and warriorship, both ways'. Inspired by my love of samurai and swordfight movies.
Untitled 1 & Untitled 2 - A sample of some unfinished ideas for two very different tunes, both working off the same beat. The first track has an old skool breaks vibe with some vocal samples aimed at anti-racism. The second has a much darker, disorientated feel. I plan on adding a lot more to both.
Congas In Ya Face - One of my earliest tracks this one. Was received quite well before. In fact, I think a well known producer, who shall remain nameless, bit the idea of the old school vocal sample from me.
Untitled 3 - This one is a broken beat styled piece with latin percussion, some wicked rhodes keys and funked up horns. Not the finished version.
