I was born and raised in Ventura County, California. Music has been my passion since I was born. Taught by my "Grams" I learned how to sing with her angelic piano playing. "Quero Que Cepas Amor" which means (I want you to know, Love!) was one of the songs in Spanish my Grams would sing to me. Raised by my grand parents Frank & Mary Lou Torrez the greatest pair of diamonds in the world, I learned the true meaning of "Family". I started performing in community talent shows, school assemblies, and choir all over the Ventura County. (Some of you might remember me singing Angel Baby in my pink dress with my hair up in those crazy barrettes). My grandma & grandpa always pushed me and knew that music would always be my dream. I began singing back up for spanish bands from 9 untill I was 11. I was trying to be in the lime light of my cousins when they started recording music in there garage. I was very shy and would sing soft and loved any type of music especially Spanish. I sang back up for different hip hop artists all over Ventura County. Thats when I met Hexx/Business Partner as well as my best friend. He has helped me out through thick and thin, with music and life. I started recording my first real songs with Hexx at a studio in Ventura during the year 2000 on his record label Satanicdog Records. Hexx and I would stay up till the early morning hours recording or I would just sit there writing songs with like 10 or 15 people chilling in the studio. It was soo much fun. I sang backups on many different songs as well as Hexx's masterpeices. Songs like Just U & Me, Uninvited, and Somethin were all writen during my freshmen year of high school. Each song that I have recorded is either a true life experience or about something I've witnessed. Martini - Is a party song I wrote because of a break up and became one of the most requested songs. I like Chickens - It's about the haters that don't even know me, who say they do but only wish they did. Jealousy is the worst thing that could ever happen to anyone but I just block those people out I'll just step on you on my way up and step on you on my way down! I have come a long way and cant wait to see what the future has to offer. In all of the struggle I wouldn't change any thing. In the beginning of 2006 I sent my demo to my friends at 103.3 The Vibe. Rico & Mambo had some show they were starting called Myspace Wednesday, and I was the first artist to come on! (Pioneer) I was soooo excited to finally hear my music on the radio. I've been performing non stop at clubs locally in Ventura. I met Relix Tribe in 2006, a band with sounds of hip hop meets rock I call it universal music (eclectic)! In 2007 I started my own record label Querro Que Cepas Amor in memory of my Grams who passed away. I just want to say thank you to all of the people who support me in everything that I've done. I would name them all but they know who they are. As for the haters out there you also know who you are! All I have to say to you is I still love you! and Don't be jealous, I'm just a girl who isn't scared of a little thing called "Trying & Never Giving Up." I don't have anything to loose!!!
