Inflicted

Inflicted was formed in early 2004 by 2 sets of brothers from Howell Michigan. After the end of a different band, Shad Hoeflinger(vocals) and long time friend Bill Cozart (Drums), were out a singer. So Shad jumped on vocals full-time. By that time Bill's younger bro Russ who had been playing guitar for 3 or 4 years took the place of lead guitar, somewhat of a rarity having one guitarist in this metal scene. Things seemed to be going ok until the "bass player" at the time decided to drop out. Well, it wasn't too long before Shad's younger bro Cody, who had been living in N. Carolina, joined on bass. For a few years Cody moved back to NC, so Bill and Russ's cousin Dave stepped in for a couple years until Cody moved back in 2004 to start over and be the bass player for the new project Inflicted. In December of 2004 Dave Vought passed away in a motorcycle accident in Georgia where he had been living. He was a great cousin, a true friend, party animal, and incredible bandmate. In July of 2006 Inflicted signed with Modern Tribe Communications and Juan Shannon as manager. This is where we are today, with a debut album coming out in Febuary.... Primarily our shows have been Michigan based, however we have played venues in Ohio, Indiana and Virginia. And we do hope to be hitting those places and more next year. Here are just a few of the local and the national bands that we've had the fucking pleasure to share the stage with...

Inflicted is gonna be hitting hard in 2008 so we will try to keep this updated as often as possible with news, new songs, release dates for our CD... and to keep everyone informed of where we are playing next! Please pass on the URL for your friends to hear!
