In Memory and Love of Marilyn

About Me

"I want to grow old without face-lifts...I want to have the courage to be loyal to the face I have made. Sometimes I think it would be easier to avoid old age, to die young, but then you'd never complete your life, would you? You'd never wholly know yourself....My illusions didn't have anything to do with being a fine actress. I knew how third rate I was. I could actually feel my lack of talent, as if it were cheap clothes I was wearing inside. But, my God, how I wanted to learn, to change, to improve!" quoted by Marilyn at a press conference in 1955.

Why is Marilyn my hero?

It's not only because of her beauty.. but because of what she was inside.. Marilyn is undoubtedly, the strongest, most determined women of all time.. she had the will-power & internal yearn for growth to transcend from an unwanted orphan.. to a bare-footed model.. to owning her own production.. & now.. a grand legend.. worldwide. She did all this while the world ridiculed her, and poked fun at her.. stabbing her with hatred and jealousy.. It’s difficult when everyone doesn’t take you seriously and as Marilyn once commented… “treats you as a joke”… but it’s those who can emerge from this negativity to be something wonderful.. that’s truly empowering…

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
