Recording Artist & Songwriter K-Jay defies the odds of being labeled just another Southern rapper by showing off his unique delivery with a hunger in his voice. With only a few years of experience he has already managed to write, record, and distribute his own music. His musical styles include Hiphop, Rap, and even R n B. Originally raised in Miami, Florida, K-Jay has been influenced by the sounds of the streets. At only 20 years of age, his talent has led him to perform before live audiences which featured major recording artists such as Juvenile, Young Geezy, Lil Wayne, and Young Buck. His marketable image, lyrical skills and a will to experiment, serves as the fuel needed for todays music. Today K-Jay is working on his debut album entitled, Far from a Rookie, due to be released during summer of 2006. The album will feature original production by local producers such as MIA Diplomat, S.K, Nova, Yaka, and Naizen. One of the songs entitled, Shawty I Do, has already been pre-released and is creating a buzz on Miamis own 89.1 FM. K-Jays future ambitions include owning his own record label called, So Exclusive Entertainment, which he will use to further his dreams.
