"Million Tears"*Take my hand Break my stride Make me smile For everytime I've cried*Hold my heart In the palm of your hand Don't listen to it breakin' Just listen to the band*Do you wanna ride in my car Its parked out on the street Or just stay with me a while Before I fall asleep Take these tears Wash your skin I'm havin' trouble breathin' Since you walked in*My hands are tied My head is reelin' My eyes have cried A million tears From wishin' you were here*All my life I've welcomed pain I've made up more excuses To bring it back again*Now I'm here And I'll drink to the shame I'll drink to the madness That made me this way

*My Nana. The most *amazing**beautiful**strong* woman I know. She raised 4 kids alone while working 2 jobs and going to school. Not to mention all the kids she took in along the way. She struggled to make ends meet and keep her children fed. She did it though. She became a PNP. She saved many children. She still gives all she has even if it means she goes without. She was diagnosed with dementia this past year. This forced her to retire. If you know my nana then you know how much her patients meant to her. She gave out her address and phone number in case there was an emergency. Watching my nana slowly forget the little things and lose her independence is very hard. We depended on her love and support for so many years. She took care of us. It's time for us to return the favor no matter how much she denies that she needs it. She is by far my definition of a *hero*!
