In todays world of materialism and excess there is one bright spot on the hip-hop map. Staying true to hip-hop roots, the verbal orator Lagik (pronounced Logic) tries to breathe fresh air into the collapsed corpse of hip hop. The state of hip hop today is very unbalanced. Everyone is saying the same thing. There is only so many ways you can ride on dubs and rock platinum. He began writing in the 3rd grade intrigued by hip hop greats such as Slick Rick and Doug E Fresh, Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Rakim and a host of others. I feel that Im versatile. I have a way of fitting any situation into rhyme form and have it make sense. Lagik is awaiting the day where mcs will be judged by skills again Im just waiting for the ice to melt. Lagik has the incredible ability to tailor his rhyme patterns to fit whatever beat that is thrown at him and prides himself on being the ultimate rhythm rider. lagik belongs to a group of like-minded mcs called Da Basix.
