::grooving in her seat::
Ok, seriously though, folks. Well, I am she who is, well, just a little bit off-kilter, but nonetheless pleased and well-adjusted to this fact. Life is a many splendored thing, you know? Many ups and down will present themselves and how we handle them creates our character. I learned many things from people I have randomly met and re-met. I've learned the most unusual information by just paying attention. I've been asked to go on Jeopardy! and see how I do with the random bits of information easily forgotten.
I believe in a few things that are certainties: your career/education/lifepath is entirely up to you in the western world, so don't go and spoil it by being sheep; your family and friends have been there before, and the ones that matter will be there after, but remember not to set fire to a bridge you cannot afford to rebuild--it may not want your charity later even if you can. And don't forget that all actions and thoughts have some great impact unseen. Just because you don't know doesn't mean that someone else doesn't either.

Any way-

Real people, those with flesh and bone that are aware that they bleed and can make others bleed by a single thought. I look forward to those that can sit there and have a decent conversation and not penalize someone for being different. We are all unique, and although we are all flawed, it takes a strong person to admit that. If you can't admit it, you haven't any care for enlightenment.I like people that enjoy being shaken up a little when the truth is pointed obviously to and around them. I like people to take away something from an experience. I like people to actively have an experience than wait around for someone else to guide them to it. It's one thing to compromise in order to meet goals in the middle, and for that I respect you, and then there's just letting someone do all the work for you so you can reap the benefits--no offense, this is a very unfortunate existence, and therefore must not be capitulated when one has two hands and feet?

It's good to mind a rest, but better to mind ones self. Then we can be more useful to everybody, including ourselves.

Which art style best reflects your personality?
Surrealism
This art movement is Dreamy, Imaginative, Deep and Subliminal. Much different than the others, these artists wanted others to see normal day things differently. You're probably someone who's always thinking. Someone who always has something on their mind. I'm sure quite often, you get lost in your thoughts. You may be someone who questions things a lot and you may stand out from the crowd. That's not always a bad thing. The observer and the dreamer can have the deepest souls.

Music:

Music to my ears would be George Carlin telling the American Government what he REALLY thinks of them. That and him being the narrative truth of these times.

Which Musician (or Group) Shares Your Taste in Music?

Well, we'll get a new run down of my taste in music. What I can tell you for sure, go back as far as you can, and then go back further still. Middle-Eastern and Turkish music, traditional folk music from various countries, movie soundtracks, classical music, opera, to turn of the century jazz, swing, blues, rock n'roll, Motown, and then keep watching the gears roll.

I also actively listen to NPR.

Books:

I'm a big history buff, so most types of historical text tend to fascinate me. The European Dream [Jeremy Rifkin], The Sparrow [Mary Doria Russell], How to Practice [HH 14th Dalai Lama], Stranger in a Strange Land [Robert Heinlein], Pearl {Janis Joplin biography} [Ellis Amburn], In The Spirit of Crazy Horse [Steven Matthiessen] Queen: As It Was [Jacky Gunn, Jim Jenkins, with foreward by Brian May], El Monje Que Vendio Su Ferrari [Robin S Sharma], The Complete Works of Oscar Wilde, The Little Prince [Antoine de St. Exupery], writing by Morehei Ueshiba, Running With Scissors [Augusten Burroughs], Greek mythology or any mythology for that matter, and of course, band biographies.

Heroes:

His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama absolutely wins the "Life under pressure and still come out on top" award.

I also admire my grandparents for being part of the Great Generation that made it through the tribulations of WWII. They existed with absolutely nothing but their resolve and survived. Their lives were indundated by circumstance and the choices they made, difficult and almost life-threatening as it may have seemed, allowed them to create perseverance that is legendary in my mind's eye.
