London Calling

About Me

Description by a narrative on a computer screen is always going to be leaving gaping holes in the reader's comprehension of the character before them and actual reality. Nevertheless, there has to be a start somewhere - afterall, evey journey starts with a step. If pressed to open such a description I would say intelligent and creative, unconventional and at times boyishly spontaneous, but some times too serious when work commitments take over as I am always ready to expend big energy and sacrifices persuing our professional passion. Friends would say he has a big heart of a helper or naturer, yet somewhat ecclectic to eccentric - a bit of a twisted cross between Michael Caine and Albert Einstein. I'm in the field of invention development, entertainment and licensing/promoting talent and intellectual property. I enjoy performance arts, travelling and immersing in distant cultures, exploring London's markets and recommended restaurants in search of foods, singing in our studio or decent karaoke pubs(!) scuba and cerebral conversation (the mystics/spiritualism/astrology/philosophy.. whatever!) Alone or accompanied, I enjoy swimming, jogging, yoga, writing and country drives/walks.Life is a ball at the moment so I guess I should be happy.....I am single and would love to meet that special someone, one day when I least expect it...sweep me off my feet into a culture I never want to leave.

I'd like to meet:

Sense of humour and generally happy go lucky demeanour. Control freaks, find another target because I will drive you to distraction if you try! Chances are my ideal partners and friends will have a sharp intellect, enjoy music, singing, writing or arts in her own way and ..I prefer someone who enjoys interesting company instead of just a stylised night life. Form over fashion in other words.Prefer slender figures with a slant towards athletisism, particularly swimming or jogging. I admire genuine application to any cause you may find dear. I have been used to looking after myself, so someone who appreciates independence and giving space to another is ideal. Love travel? Great, just suggest somewhere (preferably warm, sunny and close to water) outside the reach of mobiles and Internet. France is always a favourite for me, though Chile keeps calling. A sharp wit, keen ambition (for ANYTHING) and a sense of purpose turn my mind on. Those who have read Patrick Suskind's Perfume will better understand the power of scent over simple physical features. There is really no substitute for magical chemistry, and the only way to discover whether chemistry is there. Not looking for perfection, just a good looking comfy shoe.

Music:

My music taste is in two parts, the first is the music I listen to and the other part is the music I listen to sing to. I really like a lot of the 80's- 90's bands... From the world of rock I like Radiohead, David Bowie, Blur, Primal Scream, Pink Floyd , Led Zeppelin The The, and The Clash. More mellow moods find me chasing Joni Mitchell, The Orb, Enigma, Deep Forest, Mazzy Star, Jazz (both Latin and classical) and of course the Beatles. The music I sing to gives me a different kind of pleasure. I really like to sing Clash, Radiohead, Coldplay, Elvis, Kaiser Chiefs, even Sinatra, as well as many of the bands above. I have even got in to a lot of ballad music, because I really love the emotion of singing powerful lovesongs. I am going to post some songs soon because I believe that is what MySpace is great for too.

Movies:

My favourite movies depend on my mood, if I want to love I would list some of my favourite comedies as: "Some Like It Hot", "Rutheless People", "A Fish Called Wanda", "There's a girl in my soup". If it's a film to think about I really enjoy anything by Stanley Kubric and "The 3 Colours" series by Kieslowski. I love the "Godfather" series, "Usual Suspects" and "Matrix". I really adore Quentin Tarantino... I'd really like to write screenplays like him... Dream on!

Television:

I prefer the Internet to TV but I like watching sport especially football, athletics, cricket and motorracing. I watch "Little Britain", "Green Wing" and "The Simpsons".

Books:

My favourite mystery writer is Frederick Forsyth... Comedy: Nick Hornby, Howard Jacobson... Literature: James Joyce... I also enjoy Machiavelli "The Prince", "The Little Prince" by Antoine De Saint-Exupery, "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran... Romance: Jane Austen - Pride and Prejudice I have read so many mega books on astrology and Chinese Astrology + mysticism. Let's just say I know too much!!! If you read this far and you are interested then you are in for a treat ;-D.

Heroes:

Albert Einstien, David Sarnoff, Quentin Tarantino, Paul Gascoigne, Margaret Thatcher, Nelson Mandela, Marlon Brando, Goldie Hawn, David Gilmore, Tom Yorke, Prince.
