Overlapping text created at: myspacetweaks.comWildKard...aka...Sinn, was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan until age 15. The family then relocated west, stopping in Arizona, before settling in Las Vegas, Nevada. But back when other kids his age couldn’t see over the countertops at the local music store, he was being exposed to the rawest sounds of hip hop music. One of the benefits of having 2 older brothers is that you get to bypass the parental advisory stickers by simply raiding their collection.
It’s safe to say that Hip Hop sort of fell in WildKards’ lap rather than him chasing it. WildKard began penning rhymes in the privacy of his room at age 13, but didn’t truly understand the weight of his words until stumbling in on a freestyle session one evening. That session proved to be the tipping point since that was the moment his older brother, Da’mon “Draz†Spease, along with the other members of that cipher came to behold the word play his young mind possessed. Shortly after that night he just happened to show up at a friend’s home studio during the making of “Dreams II Reality†and ended up stealing the show with a verse he wrote on the spot at the last minute.
Since then Sinn/WildKard has gone on to record songs as a soloist as well as music for the Bound by Blood project with older sibling Draz. By submitting tracks for DJ Dramameans’ “Dramatick Tackticks vol.2 mixtapeâ€, such as “It’s a Sin†and “Food Chainâ€, WildKard has been gaining exposure and acclaim. With an in-your-face style delivery, and a swagger-type flow all his own, this Motor City-bred emcee is able to navigate the club joints, street anthems, and “everyday-man†type tales with the greatest of ease. Now its time to pay close attention to the single entitled “Come Alive†appearing on the album “Voices†produced by DJ Slice, since it is aimed at establishing Las Vegas firmly on the radar.
WildKard/Sinn is no stranger to the stage, having opened for the hip hop duo ‘dead prez’ on his first live performance, garnering a show stopping standing ovation during the B-Boy Masters Pro-Am after-event on Memorial Day Weekend 2003. A follow up invitation back to Miami was extended again to perform at the 2004 NAACP Youth Power Summit, where he again stole the show.
The year 2006 is looking to be a fruitful one for WildKard, both as a solo artist and as a member of the Citation Sounds Productions crew. WildKard is poised to establish himself as one of Las Vegas’ elite MC’s by creating the soundtrack to the city. The City of Las Vegas, where the drinks are free if you’re at the tables, where Pac met his demise and the slogan is “what happens in Vegas…stays in Vegasâ€. Well, WildKard could be the one thing that doesn’t.
