My Interests

I am a true bookaholic, I read anything I can get my hands on. I like meeting new people and having a good time. When I make the time I also like volunteering and participating in West Michigan Pride planning.

Music:

I haven't heard much music I don't like. Death metal and other discordant cacophonies don't really count as music in my book, though they do qualify as "artistic expressions".:

Movies:

I like horror, comedy, fantasy-epic. i also like tear-jerkers now and then. my three favorite movies of all time are: Ghost, Edward Scissorhands and Beaches.

Television:

The Food Network is definitely my favorite channel with PBS a close second.

Books:

I enjoy reading the written word in any form, though my favorite three authors are Stephen King, Dean Koontz and Anne Rice. I am on book ten in Piers Anthony's Xanth series and have also recently discovered John Connolly. If you like good writing with a suspense/supernatural lean, but don't feel like you want to dedicate yourself to a full novel, check out John Connolly's "Nocturnes". It is a collection of short stories as well as two novellas.
