Life is but a dream . Awake or asleep . We may exist for a moment . But that moment never existed . All that have past, don’t realize they were here . Those who remember are contingent as well . We wait to be no longer . We wait to be no more . Does it scare you that this never happened . That I was never here . In time the fear will subside . Along with body and mind . This uncompromising hand of time. Listens to no reason, nor excuse . Time will carry us though existence . From birth to death . From death to never was . We pray and we preach . We teach and we learn . We strive to excel . But all in done in vain . Prepare and pretend . For the inevitable to occur . What is, never was . What is to come, will never be .
